You must do this!! An Exceptional Experience!
オアフ - ホノルル

I've been involved in the tourism industry flying helicopters in Australia for the last 6 years and I can honestly say that this flight has some serious WOW factor! My wife and I were picked up from our hotel in Waikiki and taken to the Blue Hawaiian Helicopter base where we were greeted by a wide variety of shirts, hats and other souvenirs. After a safety brief and being allocated seat numbers we were taken to our helicopter, an EC130. Sitting in the front with my wife I was able to meet Loren, a former US Army pilot with a great sense of humour. Loren has the best way of narrating and explaining where we were, what we were seeing and some stories along the way as well. He is, without a doubt, the right man for this job! I got some amazing photos and video of Diamond Head crater, Waikiki beach, Pearl Harbour and a vast variety of well known locations. Even with a few light showers around, Loren made this flight really memorable. The EC130 is a perfect machine and it was handles in the smoothest of motions. I certainly learnt a lot about Hawaii and her history as well as how a very professional and passionate helicopter operation is conducted. A huge thank you to Loren, Shawn and the team at Blue Hawaiian Helicopters, this is a memory that we will never forget!

Magnificent ... the only way to see the volcano is action.
ビッグアイランド - ワイコロア

We took the 2 hour trip. While it is expensive, it is worth it as you get the see major portions of the island including the active volcano and the magnificent east coast. You will need your camera and wear dark clothes to minimise reflections in the windows. Our pilot Greg was great and full of local knowledge .... we always felt safe with him. Book in advance as the flights are very popular. Only one downside - they need more restrooms at the terminal.

Birdseye view of Oahu
オアフ - ホノルル

Although the weather on the day was less than ideal we had a great Birdseye view of Honolulu, Diamond Head and Pearl Harbour. At times the cloud cover took away from some of the most breath taking views I've seen to date. The trip was well worth it! Our pilot and guide, Julie, was very knowledgeable of the island landmarks and "most scenic views". We also flew low enough around the south east tip to see a Manta-ray swimming over the coral reef, as well as giant turtles grazing.

Special Views

Pricy but worth every cent. Best way to see one of the most beautiful places on earth. Very professional operation & knowledgeable pilot (pretty funny as well). Along with the theme music from Magnum PI & Hawaii 5.0 it was a memorable time.

Amazing way to see Kaua'i
カウアイ - リフエ

This is our second helo tour on this trip and Blue Hawaiian is definately the class act. Very nice machines holding up to 6 passengers, a well informed professional pilot/guide and oh, what a view of the island. It was a complete island tour with upclose views of the Na'pali coast and a tour of waterfalls all around the island. If I ever make it back ti Kaua'i I will fly with Blue Hawaiian again. Fabulous.

A Lifetime Experience
カウアイ - リフエ

We took our entire family of kids and grandkids, 14 in all, for this tour. We have been all over the world and this ranks at the top of our experiences. Our pilots Geoff and Scott were incredible. Safety conscious first but made it a great time. Words cannot express the exhilaration of the entire trip from beginning to end. Our ages ranged from 62 year-olds to 1 year olds and everyone enjoyed it. (Okay, both the 1 yo's fell asleep). Others literally had tears from the magnificence of what we saw. A one in a lifetime experience for someone who has already dived with great whites in Africa and climbed to Macchu Picchu.

Once in a lifetime experience
カウアイ - リフエ

Some of the most beautiful sights we have ever seen. We had seats 2, 6, and 7, and Captain Scott did a great job maneuvering the helicopter to ensure that everyone got a great view. Waterfalls, canyons, volcanic remnants...the only way you could see even small portions from the ground is as a very experienced hiker with a lot of time. The staff was courteous and professional. They played some highlights of our flight video on one of their TVs so we could decide whether to purchase it. Well worth the money for this fantastic experience.

Professional Photographers beware
ビッグアイランド - ヒロ

I have want to see the lava flow into the ocean for years and was so excited to see it was flowing. I have plate and pins in my ankle so I was unable to hike to the lava. We took Blue Hawaiian Helicopters years ago and had a great time. I told them I am a professional photographer and wanted to go if they had a window seat. We drive from Kona on Sunday only to have the weather rain us out. I came back out on Tuesday and did the 9 am. Since I was a solo I was told I would get a window. I did but the back, the view is rather obstructed in the back for photography. The man in the front seat wore a shirt with a white strip down both arms, this reflected in the glass and ruined every picture I took. Please if you are taking this trip wear a solid dark color, As the paper work tells you . They were nice and offered me the movie, but I cried the whole time so I didn't want to see that. It was very expensive and I saved to do this once in a lifetime trip. I was so looking forward to shooting this adventure , I don't have any decent shots without the white stripe.

amazing!

The views were stunning to see from the air, I would definitely recommend a helicopter tour. Blue Hawaiian were professional and the check in/boarding process was smooth. The pilot was very nice and helpful/informative. We were lucky when we went because Waimea Canyon was clear and you could see so much, it was purely amazing and breathtaking. We went along the Napali coast, Waimea Canyon, saw lots of waterfalls and into the crater. The only downside of this was I was seated in the 2nd row in the middle so I didn't have immediate access to a window to see out. I think it's better for those that get put in the front seat because can see the complete picture out the front versus looking over or through seats, which was a downfall because alot of my pictures have other people's body parts in them and/or I couldn't get a few shots I wanted due to the people on the edges taking photos so they're right in the middle of my pictures. However, they balance the helicopter via weight so there isn't much a person can do other than hope they're in the front.

Great tour

My friend and I did a helicopter tour first thing Monday when we got to Kauai, based on the suggestion from others that these tours are a great way to become oriented to the island of Kauai. I wanted to use a different company, but that company didn't answer the phone, so Blue Hawaiian was my next choice. Everyone was so professional, from the booking agent to the employees at check-in. I really appreciated their professionalism. Marty was our pilot. As we were seated in the helicopter, he verified who we were and asked us where we were from. There were two people seated in front with Marty and four of us in back. Seating is according to weight. Windows are everywhere. When you book you're told to wear dark clothes to reduce glare on the windows for photos. Don't panic when the pilot gets to the "Jurassic Park" waterfall and you're initially on what seems to be the wrong side; he won't leave you out of the photo op -- he'll turn the helicopter so you can see too. You're also given some microphones when you're getting buckled in so if there's something you want a better look at during the flight, you can key the mic and ask. I did get just a little queasy to where by the time we landed I needed just a moment to take a seat and collect myself. It doesn't seem like you're traveling as fast as you are. The flight was not too rough but there were some bumps and dips. We went on the 11:30 a.m. flight and the booking agent said that's one of the best times to fly Kauai because that's when the rain has moved off, if there was any. We were able to book it the day before we flew but Blue Hawaiian had a lot of flight time options throughout the week.

Excellent Tour! Best part of my trip
カウアイ - リフエ

Excellent tour and very knowledgeable tour guides. Helicopters are superior and staff makes you feel safe, yet gets the most out of the trip around the island. Scenes all over the island including mountains, waterfalls, coast lines, crater, etc. 100% recommend this tour and this company!! Book through Expedia and get a free T shirt and dvd.

Breathtaking, must-see tour
ビッグアイランド - ワイコロア

We took the 2-hour tour (Big Island Spectacular), which shows not only the craters and lava flowing towards the ocean, but also the awesome waterfalls and steep cliffs of the Kohala Mountains. It is definitely an experience of a lifetime! As a background music plays on the phones, the pilot gives the necessary explanation of what you are seeing. Be sure to pick the Eco-Star aircraft. Since you are not the one who chooses where you'll be seating, this model offers a better view for those sitting on the back seats.

Great tour
ビッグアイランド - ワイコロア

I took the Big Island Spectacual. Elli was a great pilot. His information was interesting and his flying skills amazing. I got such a great taste of the island that it saved a lot of driving around. The only downfall was the view of the volcano activity was very limited- just the ocean entry- no summit, no Pu'u o'o crater. I actually took a tour with another outfit just for that after this one.

There is nothing more I can say. Me and the wife had a tour booked today just got back to the hotel and we couldn't stop saying how brilliant it was. We have had helicopter tours in New York but this was a little bit expensive but for 45 minutes you are up there it was amazing. Thank you to everyone and especially our pilot Julie she was amazing pilot.

Kauai tour
カウアイ - リフエ

We were on the 2:00 flight on Saturday with Marty. Loved this experience! The scenery is breathtaking and there's a reverence about the island. Every song on the playlist was appropriate and thoughtfully chosen. Marty was a great pilot and narrator! I wished we had done it at the beginning of our trip to get our bearings of the island, but it was a memorable way to end our week as well! Thank you! I'd totally do it again and use blue Hawaiian when we go to the other islands. Very safe.
