Only something like 10% of Kauai is accessible by road. Much of the island is still privately owned, and a multi-day hike was out of the question with kids in tow, so the Blue Hawaiian flight was, in one word, SPECTACULAR. We were able to see the Waimea Canyon, the Na Pali coast, dozens of waterfalls and several rainbows, all from the comfort and safety of the helicopter piloted by a very knowledgeable and skilled Barrett. We considered a boat rode on the Na Pali coast at first, but spoke to several visitors that got extremely seasick doing so, so wouldn't change our experience for anything. Worth the expense without question.

This tour must be the best company to book with because there was zero room for improvement! Everything was perfect. Especially our pilot. His voice was so smooth and kind, you could tell he really enjoyed his job and was trying his best to make it smooth and enjoyable for us. Barrett was very kind to our kids and allowed everyone to speak into the mic. Thanks a bunch!

This is an amazing experience and well worth the money. We have enjoyed two flights and both pilots were amazing. The sights are incredible and cannot be beat!!

Blue Hawaiian Helicopters is a tour based out of all the Hawaiian Islands. My wife and I thought this would be a great way to see the reported 70% of Kauai that is not accessible by road. We arrived early and even requested the front seats but here is some information that they do not tell you when booking your $150+ seats. #1. They will balance out the helicopter by weight so if the heavier people will get back middle seats. (understandable but also information they may want to tell you when they ask you weight over the phone.) #2. If you are tall you will have a very uncomfortable ride while having to slouch forward to try to see out of their windows. So being over 200 pounds and over 6 feet tall, my rear middle seat was the absolute worst on the ride unless I wanted to spend all that money to see 4 strangers have a good experience. #3 and the worst part: the tour is a clockwise tour around the Island which means you need to sit either in the front two seat (best) or seat #'s 4 and 5 which are on the right (inward seat) for the tour. My wife and I were given seat 6 and 7 which are on the left of the aircraft. Now in a clockwise rotation of the Island, our $150+ per seat investment got us a pretty good aerial view of the ocean. A view that we get from out hotel. I wish we would have save our money.

Our helicopter ride was great - the pilot told some interesting stories and we got to see many of the top attractions on the island including the Napali Coast and Jurrassic Falls. The trip went so quickly, it was extremely smooth even with the rain. Great experience, definitely recommend this company!

Awesome experience! Pilot Craig had a great personality and offered great tidbits about the island areas. Brian, a member of the ground crew that showed us the safety guide was funny and definitely calmed any nerves anyone might have had. They say they are the Cadillac of helicopter rides and that is so true. Very smooth and comfortable ride. Again, awesome time!

I have been on a few helicopter tours, and this one was really fantastic!! Smooth tour, great pilot.... in fact the whole staff was great. The pilot made sure everyone had a chance to see the view. Would highly recommend this company!!

Have done helicopters before, but really enjoyed this one. Top-notch staff and very professional in everything. Got to see everything and pilot Chris kept us well informed. They do a video of your flight which you can purchase at end.

Most of Kauai is inaccessible by road. The only way to appreciate the majesty of this island is from the air. The helicopters used by Blue Hawaiian Helicopters are excellent. Everybody has an excellent view. The pilot, Chris was excellent and gave an excellent guide to the island. What was lovely as well was that he would address each of us by name, we weren't just passengers. We got down close into the valleys. Again safety was important and all of the regulations were observed. A highly professional company. Yes it is expensive but worth it .

What a professional company this is , My special needs son invested in the Big Island Spectacular for the both of us . When we arrived at the helipad we heard the flights to the volcano area were cancelled due to the high VOG level . We were offered a refund or to be rescheduled. We were also offered to go on the waterfall/cliff short tour. Because of time restraints we didn't reschedule the big one- we chose to go right away on the smaller one with pilot Dale. Unfortunately the forty minute flight was about twentyfive minutes long and our trip was cut short by fog,mists,and other helicopters. On the positive side at least we saw some of the Big Island, parts of the waterfalls-pretty cool- just had you wanting more - nice try . When we got back they realized we hadn't seen what we should have they offered us all a FULL REFUND. My special needs son was SO impressed because to him there is no GREY- just black or white .Very impressive - will recommend them to all !!! VERY ETHICAL !!!

After flying with blue hawaiian helicopters last year on Kauai we decided to go with them again as we were impressed last time. We were not disappointed this time either. Everything was just as professional as last time , and we had an amazing flight over the volcanos. Our pilot Scott was fantastic, and very knowledgable. I would recommend this company to anyone.The eco star helicopters are absolutely awesome, and give you great views.

We had and excellent trip around the Island of Oahu. Jonathan the pilot was excellent and gave us a birds eye view of all the important sites. We rented a jeep 2 days before and toured the island (which was great) then taking a helicopter ride around many of the same spots was amazing. We go to see wales swimming with their babies - amazing!!! The staff at BHH was excellent - made us feel at home and they really cared about our safety. The answered any questions we had whether it was safety stuff or just about their company. They had a super friendly shuttle driver that picked us up and dropped us off after the trip. The whole staff was great - it was a great experience!! - Go for it!!

Booked the 2 hour tour, it was amazing! Scott, our pilot did an excellent job flying us around the island and making sure that people on both sides of the plane had an opportunity to see everything A great trip. Highly recommend doing this
