I loved the 45-minute helicopter tour of Kauai. Of all the excursions that I took during my Royal Caribbean cruise to Hawaii, this one topped them all. The views were breathtaking, and I loved the sound track playing in the background! We took off to the theme of the original Hawaii-Five-Oh! My pilot, Barrett, lived on the island and had a wealth of information and stories for us. I would highly recommend this tour and will do it again someday.

We reviewed several Helicopter options and settled on Blue Hawaiian. Awesome experience and great value. The flight and our pilot were the best. We'll be using them again on the Big Island. Best way to see the valleys and the coast

It was excellent -- only wish it could have been longer. Chris was a great guide and gave us a fun, laid-back, and up-close tour of Kauai.

This ranks as one of the all time best, if not the best, experiences of my life! Our pilot Vincent was super professional and put everyone at ease as soon as we took off. I was lucky enough to be assigned the front middle seat and was able to take about 80 excellent photos of our hour-long trip. The sights are simply spectacular, and I loved the music that was playing over the headphones. Just made me feel like i was in a movie! I cannot recommend this tour enough . . . even if you are a little hesitant. I had never been in a helicopter before and I left wishing it was my job every day! Saw waterfalls, the canyon, the Napali Coast, went right up to the top of Waialeale, and learned so much about the island. It was a great thing to do on our second day there, as it gave us a great overview of the island and we knew where we wanted to go in our Jeep the next day. We also did a snorkeling and sailing tour, but this was by far the best way to see the island. Don't miss it!

Went up in early June and had a fantastic 45 minute narrated flight around the island with a great pilot/tour guide. While they accommodated my disability and were helpful once I arrived at heliport, their Blue Hawaii shuttle service for Waikiki doesn't accommodate wheelchairs. We had some major problems with our initially scheduled flight that shot 1/2 a day of vacation & could have been avoided if they called us, but they made good by rescheduling, picking us up and helping transfer me in to their van so I didn't have to hassle with arranging my own transportation. They also compted me the CD of the flight. They are a great outfit with friendly staff and do have a lift to assist getting in the 'copter, but if you're disabled, you'll need to get there on you own

While on holidays in Waikiki one of our most "to do" things was take a helicopter ride over the island. We looked at most options but decided on Blue Hawaiian. It wasn't the cheapest but decided to deal with an organisation rather than a family based business. It proved to be the right decision as this being our fifth time in a helicopter at various places around the world was by far the best we have encountered.We were collected from our hotel on time, taken straight to the helicopter base and without further delay did our briefing and were on board without too much fuss or delay. I was even more impressed that our pilot who was not a man but a happy bright lady called Julie. It was without a doubt worth doing, the scenery and commentary was superb. We flew up over Waikiki beach and then around the coast heading back over Pearl Harbour. We hired a car to travel around Oahu, pity as if we had done this helicopter ride first there was no need to go by car as the aerial view covered it all and gave a much better perspective of Oahu. On return we purchased a DVD (well worth the money) of our experience and an inexpensive t-shirt souvenier. All up, I would say this is the best company we have had the pleasure of riding with in our numerous "sky high" adventures. Don't deal with the rest, go with the best as this company will not disappoint.

We did the Kohala Coast Adventure 50 minute trip, and it was awesome! yes, it's expensive. But, it's a helicopter ride along the Hawaiian coast and inside a valley to see amazing waterfalls. I wish the weather cooperated a bit more during our trip, as there was some fog and rain, and the visibility was poor at times. But, that's not anything that can be controlled, so do the trip and cross your fingers for a clear day. Our pilot was awesome, he told lots of interesting information, and answered all of our questions. This was an amazing experience, we'll likely do this again the next time we visit Hawaii.

We want to thank our pilot Noah for a great experience on the Blue Hawaiian spectacular. The Helicopter was comfortable and quiet. Noah was very knowledgeable and shared the history and facts of the island throughout the 2 hr trip. The scenery was awe inspiring and the sound track Noah chose for the trip was great. I was brought to tears when we reached the waterfalls.We just watched the video that we purchased of the trip, it will be awesome to play back home in Boston with the 6 ft. of snow we are going home too! It is totally worth the money we paid.

Awesome tour - covered all the main attractions, really excellent helicopter (EC130) - I've done lots of flying in Jetrangers so nice upgrade! Very professional & very nice touch to have the personal DVD. I'll do the Maui tour next visit!

This was our favorite excursion during our trip to Honolulu. We went on the day of our 25th anniversary and they were kind enough to let us have the front seats! What a view. Thanks so much for the special treatment! We took pictures and purchased the DVD.

Great job to Scott and the crew! We would have loved to seen the volcanoes today but safety was more important to all of us. The cliffs were absolutely gorgeous and the extra whale watching was a bonus!

Took the 7:30 tour and it was spectacular just like it advertised. Saw the caldera and lava lake and flew directly over the vent seeing lava oozing from the ground and tube cracking open and glowing red along with burning brush along the way. The pilot made sure each passenger got a good luck. Also went up in to the valleys at the north end of the island headed straight in to waterfalls and in to narrow valleys that were absolutely overwhelmingly beautiful. The only glitch was that you could not hear questions/answers over the mics and headsets. Worth the money for sure.

A wonderful flight to the waterfalls. It's hard to even comprehend just how secluded these falls are and the grand size of the falls are only appreciated when you see another helicopter fly past! Awesome pilot too!

Education is good but entertainment helps the learning curve. Barret saw to it that we were entertained with our education of the island. Sonya and I thoroughly enjoyed the ride and company. Keep up the great work.

Helicopter tours are expensive. For many it is a once in a lifetime opportunity. So when you take a tour you want to make sure the experience is memorable. Blue Hawaiian makes sure its guests get the most out of their flight. Our first scheduled flight was cancelled due to weather. We saw other companies flying off into the cloudy sky. Blue Hawaiian chose to cancel rather than fly in less than ideal conditions. Appreciated them doing this. We were able to reschedule our flight. Conditions were much better on our 2nd try. Had a wonderful flight we will remember forever. I am giving only 4 stars due to the nature of helicopter tours in general and not Blue Hawaiian specifically. Helicopter tours are expensive and weather is unpredictable. 5 stars for Blue Hawaiian if weather was perfect. That may be unfair, but tours are expensive. So my advice, if possible, wait to book to get as perfect weather conditions as possible.
