Before we even left the ground, the kindness and detail to safety that the Blue Hawaiian Staff showed us was so reassuring that we knew we were in great hands. Our pilot was Chris..... what can we say..... HE WAS AMAZING!!!! Chris has away of putting you at ease once you get on the helicopter, we knew we were going to have a great time. The information Chris shared about Kauai made the trip one that will last a life time. Definitely the best time we had on the island. Highly recommend for views of Hawaii that you cannot see from the ground. Thank you Chris and Blue Hawaiian Tours for the best hour of our lives.

We normally don't book these extravagant attractions, but as anyone on Kauai will tell you, you can only see 25% of Kauai from the ground. This trip was incredible and we would certainly do it again. Blue Hawaiian Helicopters is not the cheapest, no the most expensive company, but the customer service with this company is tremendous. The pilot speaks to you by name during the flight and answers questions freely. They do offer military and Kama Aina discounts. They also sell a video of your entire flight. When I first was told of this, I assumed that they would charge something extreme, like $75, but another pleasant surprise, it was only $25. I would say this is a must activity if you visit Kauai

Awesome helicopter tour! Our pilot was an excellent guide, describing the history surrounding the sites we viewed. In addition, over specific sites, the pilot turned the helicopter so that riders on both sides could see. My tour lasted 45 minutes, and I was able to purchase the video of my tour, as well. I came away with a much better appreciation and love for the island. And that nifty video, too!

We really enjoyed our flight. We had never travelled on a helicopter before but it was quite smooth and the pilot was very good. We enjoyed the sights and commentary and it really gave us a good overview to the island. Negatives were the fact that we couldn't see some of the places as were on the other side of the craft and he didn't turn it enough ..we missed part of the Pearl Harbour memorial which was really disappointing. Our advice is to try to get the front seats then you see everything! It is expensive but we thought it suited our time frame.

Our pilot was Michael, he was superb! Funny & very entertaining, as well as quite knowledgeable! We had the BEST time!

A class outfit all the way.  On time pick up, straightforward and not over the top safety briefings but mostly the helicopter.  I have been in a few helicopters before but the Eco Star is nothing but pure comfort.  This activity may be a pricey option for some, if you can afford it splash out, you won't regret it.  

Please give yourself a treat. It was wonderful! Our pilot Julie was really good. She is a very good pilot. She was excellent as a tour guide. She told us exactly what we would see. I would recomend this flight!

I called this morning to see if there would be a way to fit in the Oahu helicopter trip on the way to the airport for my next flight. Blue Hawaiian Helicopters were completely accommodating, the booking process was easy, I was on hold for a brief time while a few details were confirmed. Picked up from hotel exactly on time, the stowed my bag and dropped to the airport. Very professional operation. The do mention on website and over phone to wear dark clothing, two pax wore white so it was hard to take photos with the white shirts reflected in the windows - not the company's fault!

I was somewhat apprehensive in taking a helicopter flight as I had never done so before. No need to worry- Blue Hawaiin is very professional in all regards. Safety is taken seriously & our pilot Michael was a pro. We felt like we were floating above The Garden of Eden. As you pass over lush canyons, waterfalls & along the Na Pali Coast, Kauai's beauty unfolds before your eyes. Most of us were muttering how unbelievable the views were & at times we were speechless. Yes a feast for the eyes!

This was the 1st time either of us has flown in a helicopter or had a tour like this. Pricy, but it was amazing. We both had a great time. The only negative was that the back seat holds 4 people in the helicopter we had, which could mean that two don't get a window seat. My wife sat there and still had a great time. Our pilot was Michael, and was fun for the whole flight. The views from the flight are spectacular, and Kauai is said to be the best island to take the aerial tours.

This place is great. Pilot Chris (son of pilot Craig, who looks like Walter White) is great. Mrs. Tikimark was somewhat nervous about he first helicopter ride, but Chris is so great as both a pilot and a calm, cool, tour guide she was quickly enjoying herself. Kauai is an amazing place and seeing by helicopter - especially from a great company like Blue Hawaii is something you shouldn't miss

Flying with Blue Hawaiian will definitely be one of the highlights of our honeymoon. Barrett was an amazing pilot and tour guide. Highly recommend this trip!

My goodness.....we had the most fabulous time taking Blue Hawaiian Helicopter Tour of Oahu. First time we ever took a helicopter tour, and boy was it worth it. We decided to take the "Blue Hawaiian Helicopter Tour" because we had friends that had taken the tour on a previous vacation to Oahu and told us how thrilling it was. As 'seniors', we threw 'terror' to the wind..... and had the time of our lives. The pilot was outstanding. My husband is an "aeronautical fan" so he had alot to talk to the pilot about. Narrated by the pilot, the tour covered everything that we had interest in seeing. One thing we found really fascinating is that the knowledgeable pilot even pointed out the whales that were 'breaching'! It was awesome. The pineapple fields, Pearl Harbor, The North Shore with it's large waves, Diamond Head,....etc. BEST thing we've ever done out of our seven trips to the islands of Hawaii. This is one expense that you need to treat yourself to. Our photos were fabulous! Oh, I forget the waterfalls too! Plus you receive a free photo of yourselves on the trip.

I chose Blue Hawaiian based not only on other reviews I had read on Trip Advisor, but also the length of the tour seemed longer than others, and that the helicopter seemed to ensure people would get the opportunities for great views. I booked a tour of Oahu on 7 September and it exceeded my expectations. The entire experience was flawless. From the time we were picked up from our hotel, to the professionalism by the staff with safety procedures etc. Julie was our pilot (what a cool chic!) and she was exceptional. She explained everything to us then gave us a great tour of the island with great tips, views and the "oh my God" moment when we made it over waterfall and experienced the most breathtaking views. It is an expensive tour but if you decide to do a helicopter ride then I would absolutely choose Blue Hawaiian, ten out of ten.
