I was a little hesitent when I saw how much this flight was, but it was so worth it. Great pilot, and views, views views. Saw the volcano, lava flows waterfalls, valleys, etc etc,etc. Once in a lifetime stuff that you can't see from the ground.

Was able to view areas of the island inaccessible via car, hiking all within 2 hours. Weather was perfect and gave us great visibility.

My life has been pretty full of adventures, but this flight hands down beats them all. We zoomed up to lava flows and 2000 foot waterfalls, and it's incredible that they make a video of the whole thing. Can't wait to see my face when we nosed around Kilauea!!

My husband and I and our daughter and son in law took the Oahu ride. Our pilot was a retired Army Black Hawk pilot, named Loren. He was very informative and took time to answer any questions we had. He made sure that everyone got to see the sights, not just those seated on a particular side. I communicated with Blue Hawaiian by email and by phone. They were very helpful and prompt about answering my emails, which was nice since we were already on Oahu and time was a factor. It was such a nice way to get a feel for Oahu. Even though we had a rental car, we couldn't see the entire island. We ordered the DVD which has the actual conversation and video from our tour. Just an FYI. Our daughter was six and a half months pregnant and the motion of the helicopter made her a little uncomfortable. But, she is prone to motion sickness. If someone is, I would recommend the front seat. This is a very well run operation and quite enjoyable. If you book 5 days in advance you get a discount too.

I've been on several helicopter tours, but this was the best by far. The pilot was very familiar with all the sites around the island. Worth every cent I paid.

Brad did an excellent job of escorting us around Kauai and educating us with his tour guide knowledge. First class pilot and first class aircraft. Just do it.

We had a great flight around the island of Kauai! This is one of my favorite things to do. You get to see so much more of the island and also get some history from the pilot. One of my friends was almost speechless on the flight (which never happens!) Don't miss it!

A helicopter tour is one of the "must do" activities on Kaua'i and there are several options to choose from. My advice is to spend the extra money and go Blue Hawaiian... Our confirmed time was initially on Wednesday morning. We arrived and were in the process of checking in when the previous flights returned early--clouds had moved in spoiling the views and the flights were suspended. The people on those flights had the option to re-book or be refunded at their option, as did we. We re-booked for Friday and were treated to perfect weather and a beautiful flight. The helicopters are very modern, quiet, and very up to the task of managing the trade winds that swirl around the island--I never once felt "iffy" when we were under way in terms of vibration or turbulence. We had a very entertaining pilot as well. Although I haven't had a chance to view the video yet I am really looking forward to it--videos of your flight are available for purchase 15 minutes after you land, for $25.

Made a great choice going with Blue Hawaiian - they chose to postpone our initial time slot as weather was less than optimal on the Hilo side and did not want us to have a less than superb flight and without fuss rescheduled for a couple of days later. The equipment is first rate. Quiet and smooth with a great camera system for video to capture your flight. Our pilot was very experienced and wanted to deliver a great experience supplementing the trip with knowledge and skill taking us over live lava fields and into waterfall canyons. A must do!!

Our helicopter tour of Oahu was absolutely breath-taking! ALL of the Blue Hawaiian staff in Honolulu were very courteous and professional. As soon as we walked in the door, they made us feel as if they knew us. Our pilot Adam was so knowledgeable about the island and was so fun to fly with. He made sure everyone got to see all the landmarks in full view for picture taking. When he flew us to the waterfall, it was as if we could reach out and touch it! This tour was a trip of a lifetime, and we will definitely use Blue Hawaiian again when we return to the other islands. Thank you all so much for making our first trip to Hawaii so memorable! We did a little research before we chose the company to fly with, and we were delighted we picked Blue Hawaiian. The day we were supposed to fly was windy and rainy and after we checked in we were told the tour was cancelled because the conditions were not optimal for our flight. We were happy that they were not only concerned about safety, but the experience we would have as well. We noticed other companies were flying and can only imagine that they did not have as beautiful a tour. The re-booking process was smooth, and when we flew three days later it was sunny and glorious. We had booked the trip early in our stay in case we had to re-book, so doing so was not stressful. Had we not been able to fly later, they told us we would get a full refund. The day of our flight the safety briefing was thorough, the helpful ground crew made the boarding and dis-embarking easy, and our pilot was wonderful. Shay (pilot) was gregarious and included all passengers by name as he flew us skillfully and pointed out the wonderful features of the island. When we came around the Napali coast one of the passengers noticed whales below us, and while Shay pointed out that he needed to keep distance between them, he did fly us into position circling around so everyone could see one of the whales surface and roll, an unexpected highlight. The entire tour was breathtaking and awe inspiring, invoking tears of joy at the beauty. The soundtrack background to Shay's narrative was lovely and the noise canceling headphones made for a delightful experience. I would definitely fly with Blue Hawaiian again if I have the occasion for another tour and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to take a helicopter tour of Kauai! It was an experience we will never forget.

Our pilot, Chris did an excellent job operating the helicopter and telling us about Kauai. We saw more waterfalls in our 50 minute ride than we had seen our entire lives. People say that if you only do one helicopter ride in Hawaii do it on Kauai, I agree! Blue Hawaiian has top notch helicopters and employees, I would use them again. NOTE: not everyone gets a window seat, if there are six passengers on a flight only three will have window seats. They assign seats based upon weight, so you have no choice on where you sit.

Great tour, easy flight with no worries! We got lost in the scenery, and forgot where we were. Definitely do this, you will not regret it!

Our family of four had a truly memorable experience when we did the Oahu tour with pilot Adam. Spectacular scenery and Adam provided lots of information on various sites around the island as well as answering all of our questions with his local knowledge. He spotted two large hammerhead sharks and he circled so we could get some great snaps of these. This is a very professional operation right from the pick-up drivers , check-in staff through to the pilots. We have done helicopter tours before in other countries and both my husband & I felt that the Blue Hawaiian experience was the most enjoyable because we felt totally at ease and confident with both the pilot and the 'vehicle'. Put this on the top of your list when in Hawaii !

If there is not another tour you spend money on while in Hawaii, you MUST do this one. The staff at Blue Hawaiian was super..everyone was friendly and seemed concerned with making sure you enjoyed the experience. This is something there is no words for...just absolutely breathtaking and wonderful
