If you are coming to Hawaii and only have the time or the budget to do one activity I strongly recommend that you take a helicopter tour with this company!! We took our first helicopter tour on Oahu today and it exceeded our hopes and expectations. They truly care about the satisfaction of their customers and the employees are very friendly, professional and welcoming! Thank you to our pilot Julie, she took the time to wish our son a happy birthday during the tour and was very informative and friendly. Their helicopters are very comfortable to ride in with great views and air-conditioning. Julie made us feel safe and comfortable during our flight and we were able to relax and enjoy the beautiful tour. Thank you Blue Hawaiian Helicopter Tours! We'll be back.

This is the best money we spent on our vacation! If there is one thing you should do first on your vacation to any of the islands, it's take a helicopter tour.  Seriously! I had so many ideas of where we wanted to spend our time on Ohau, but after we finished our helicopter tour I knew the places I wanted to concentrate on.  Thank you to Vincent in the office and Adam as our guide - both made this a great experience.

Excellent company!.. Pilot (Bush) is  a true professional very knowledgeable and makes everyone feels safe and welcome from the very beginning. Awesome tour for a very good price, make sure to do it on the first days of your stay so you'll get a better orientation of the Island. Tip: Wear darker color to minimize the glare on the windows.

What an amazing time this was!! When we were in HI , my wife says to me - we should do a helicopter tour around Oahu. I was shocked because usually I'm the one that initiates these little excursions ! So we call, make reservations & we go. Keep in mind their base is in the back somewhere of Honolulu Airport - even the taxi driver had a hard time finding it. Haha. The one downfall of this is that the times of the tours conflict with rush hour traffic - so yes, prepare yourselves. Upon checking in everybody seemed very professional, showing a video of safety issues & doing little demonstrations of safety as if you're on a plane. We board the helicopter - which I was anxious , excited yet nervous , never riding in a helicopter. The helicopter is huge. Seats 4 people in the rear & 2 passengers besides the pilot in the front. Comfortable seats with a great amount of leg room!!! The helicopter is nothing but Windows so no matter where you sit you have perfect views of the gorgeous Hawaiian sights. Once I found out the pilot was a retired US Army Blackhawk Pilot I was a little more at ease. So we put our earphones on, music comes on consisting of  Hawaiian music to add to the ambiance & we take off. Smooth , comfortable rides with amazing sights. On this tour they take you all around the entire island. Seeing every sight! AMAZING!!! To go to certain places is great but to see it from above. PHENOMENAL!!! I strongly suggest taking the adventure !

My fiance and I went on a tour this morning (were from the bay are) and words cannot describe how amazing and beautiful this was. He has never been to hawaii before and neither of us had done a tour like this before ever. But WOW! Julie was our pilot and she was a ton of fun and quirky. We loved her jokes. Everyone working here were just great. We cant wait to go to another island to do another tour!

Great trip. Well worth every penny.  I don't think you have a chance to choose your own guide but "Go Go" was awesome.  We took the two hour trip and saw everything.  Got lucky and saw lots of lava.   The waterfalls and the valleys are truly incredible, especially from a helicopter.

We chose blue Hawaiian helicopter tour for big island spectacular. We chose an A star but got a free upgrade to an eco star. The difference is really just the bench vs. bucket seats in the back. We had plenty of room to see the beauty around us and take pictures/videos. Absolutely breath taking experience. We saw both volcanoes, beautiful coast, valleys and waterfalls that you cannot see on the road. We even saw two whales swimming. It may be out of budget for many people since its $400-500 per person but it's worth it!

This was our second time flying with Blue Hawaiian, the first being in Kauai last year. That was one not a very long trip. Today, we were in the air over an hour and a half! There are some things in life you will NEVER see on foot or in person. Active volcanoes are near the top of that list. Seeing activity, lava flows, lakes and landscape is amazing. The scenery and waterfalls were equally amazing. Our pilot, Carl, was great! He was knowledgeable and funny. I'm personally one that appreciates tour guides, pilots, whoever... to let me actually enjoy my experience without talking my ear off, trying to be over the top entertaining and putting me on the spot when mixed in with others I don't know. It might sound like a petty thing to point out but little things like that make or break excursions for me and Carl is your guy. I enjoyed every second! This company never disappoints and takes you places you'd never experience any other time in your life. Just do it!

We will be doing this again when we come back! This. Was. Awesome! Jeremy was an incredible pilot and I am speechless. Absolutely rad, even in the rain! Words cannot express just how fantastic a way this is to see the different parts of the island! People working there were pretty amazing, informative and friendly!

Darren took us on the most amazing bucket list trip of my life, everything was perfect.  We drove over from the hotel and they set us up with all our safety gear and off we went. We saw the volcano actively shedding a wave after a wave. Darren took us around for multiple views so everyone could see it.  It was stunning. He had a great knowledge of the island and told wonderful stories. He was lots of fun. Next over to the coast and a beautiful rainbow, bright as could be appeared. Then up the coast,  Such beauty on the smooth helicopter ride.   A highlight of the ride was the touchdown,  We touched down in front of this amazing waterfall.  He let us get out and take pictures,  He even brought a Santa hat so we could make Christmas Cards if we wanted.

My husband I went on their tour in early October and we loved it!!! It was such an amazing experience! Very well organized and professional. There's so many to choose from in Waikiki area and I def recommend them! Our pilot Adam was super awesome and a great tour guid! Full of information and made it fun!

What really impressed me was the phone call back from someone senior at this company this afternoon. They will investigate and take action given the information that was provided on the morning of this incident.

An absolute must!  It is worth every penny.  Do not miss.  It was the highlight of our wedding weekend.  Thank you for such a wonderful day. I will never forget it.   We went over the Island of Oahu on April 24, 2011.

Julie was our pilot and she was great pointing everything out for us. Gave good history of the island and all of its natural and historical places. We even saw turtles manta rays and whales!!

We 'flew Blue' on Monday and it was definitely the highlight of our vacation. It was truly an awe inspiring way to see Oahu. The Blue Hawaiian team were extremely kind and professional. Julie, our pilot, was an excellent tour guide and her calm but fun demeanor complemented the tour's music perfectly. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Honolulu. It was definitely worth it.
