Wow, simply wow. We chose Blue Hawaiian based on their reviews and our interactions with them over the phone. They are a well oiled machine! We were impressed with their focus on safety and the ease with which we scheduled our tour. Highlights: 1. A reputable company who clearly thinks of safety first, 2. An incredible pilot/guide (Gosh darn I wish I could remember his name... Shane? I don't remember) who was very calm and would let us know where to expect little "wiggles"- this put our mind at ease and was helpful to know that he knew the island so well that he could predict when we'd have a little turbulance, 3. Breathtaking views! If you ever want to do a helicopter ride, there is no better place than Kauai, 4. Large windows- the helicopters they use have enormous windows. Things I would recommend or change: 1. Taking pictures is tough because of glare, if passengers had a dark colored blanket, that would decrease the amount of pants/shoes reflection in the pics, 2. They had asked which two of the 3 in our party wanted to sit together... turns out those two didn't get to sit together. The seating is done by weight, so we understood... it was just weird that they had asked and then it was completely different. Overall I would highly recommend this company and the experience. You will never get another view like this one!

We chose Blue Hawaiian based on them having great reviews and the newest aircraft on the island. We were very pleased with the tour, my wife noting that it was likely the best tour she's ever done. Kauai, more than any of the other major Hawaiian islands is not very accessible for a few reasons which makes a helicopter tour a great way to see the island. Blue hawaiian starts your tour by weighing each rider (in secret no one sees the weight) so they can properly balance the aircraft. Once that's completed a safety briefing for the Eco-Star is completed and then you're off. The Helicopter comfortably seats 6 and the pilot, and has a mostly glass cabin so you can see from every seat. We sat in the front row with the pilot which gave us spectacular views of the peaks, valleys, movie scenery and waterfalls that make up the garden isle. Our Pilot was Beth, and she was super friendly and gave a great guide to everything we saw on the tour. I would absolutely recommend taking this tour while in Kauai. It is simply breathtaking.

Excellent! We loved the experience and the commentary by Loren. He shared fun and interesting facts of the area and history of the island and surrounding islands. Loved it! Thanks Loren...you were awesome!

Comfortable flight; great pilot and breath-taking views

Today we flew with pilot Jeremy and the entire experience was absolutely incredible. The views of the volcano and its lava, the lava entering the ocean and the waterfalls were breathtaking. Jeremy's knowledge of the history of the volcano and the island added a lot to our tour. We wish it didn't have to end! Thank you so much Blue Hawaiian Helicopters for such a phenomenal experience.

Our flight with Barrett was absolutely amazing and we're so pleased we booked it. The weather was superb and Barrett showed us the very best that the Island of Kauai has to offer. Very nice tour. We had a late start due to switching pilots and what-nots, but they gave us complimentary DVDs afterwards. The views were awesome and the pilot, Jeremy, was fun and informative.
