great views and great pilot

Brody, Thank you for the awesome flight and for sharing your love of this beautiful island that you call home. It is very clear that you are passionate about what you do and are so proud to share this lovely place. Our family recently lost two sisters. Incredible scenery, amazing piloting skills. Go early in the morning if you can - the light and weather are both terrific.

I have taken a tour with Blue Hawaiian on every island except Lanai. Excellent tours to be had and upgrade to the Eco Star for an ultra comfortable and nice ride. This was my second tour on the Big Island as I was traveling with a friend and this was her first helicopter tour. A couple things this time around, we booked the Grand 2 hour tour which was more 1.5-1.75 hours but that was okay, maybe because I had taken tours before. My friend and another couple not so happy for the over $500 per person price tag (tour cost + all taxes and fees). They recommend the USB drive video but beware it cost about $40 on top of the tour price, you can request a DVD for $25 but they may be phasing this out. You can order and go back to pick up the video as they need 30 minutes to process as it is from your actual flight. I would not recommend this for young children, for the price and the discomfort (ears, noise) but I realize if you don't have a sitter you may be tempted to take them. I'd truly recommend the coast line tour, flying over the volcano is great to see but for the added cost for the flight it was very expensive. I hate to say anything but positive as I love this tour company and the experience but the price was just way too high for a 90 minute tour.
