While taking a helicopter ride isn't the cheapest thing to, and for some scary, this is something you must do while here. They fly up the coast line where there are no roads and into areas which are full of island lore and beauty. Every second on the coast line you will find yourself in awe at the beauty. Save for it if you must but don't miss out on this event. From what we heard from others, Blue Hawaiian is the best option but there are others and some a little less expensive. Perhaps a lot has to do with the pilot as well so even if you pick the least expensive it will be worthwhile. Enjoy.

Fantastic incredible experience. Toshi, our pilot, was very experienced, knowledgeable of the area and made the whole trip an enjoyable experience. We wore headsets and had a microphone so we could ask questions and interact throughout the experience. Toshi he had incredible music with impeccable timing. So much a great experience.

We are always a few days early or late seeing a spectacular event in Volcanoes National Park. Ok, so we did miss an incredible breakout 3 days after our tour, but we did get to see lava and we saw the firehose into the ocean. Blue Hawaiian Helicopters is so professional and gave us a great trip. The helicopter is very comfortable and Tim was very informative. If the Volcano is showing off, make sure you book this trip!

This company offers exceptional service! We truly enjoyed our two (2) hour helicopter ride on the Big Island of Hawaii. Our pilot was great and had a great sense of humour. We had a fantastic experience.

Rick gave a great tour considering the clouds were not cooperating! The tour allowed us to see parts of Maui that we never would have been to in a car or on foot. Truly enjoyable.
