It was amazing! We thought we were in for a treat with the water entry of the lava, but the valley that we went through at the end of the flight was breath taking! Toshi, our pilot, was great. He was funny and enjoyed answering all our questions. 10/10 would recommend.

Great location, right off the highway. Spend the extra money to ride on an Eco-Star model. We took the north coast tour, had a nice variety of waterfalls on the coast and in some valleys. Nice access to area of the island that most people don't see. Cross your fingers that you don't get seated in the 2 middle back seats, they are the hardest to get photos out the window from.

My review of Blue Hawaiian Helicopters comes from the viewpoint of a community member rather than a consumer. Helicopter tour companies clearly have a direct impact on their environment, particularly when it comes to noise levels as they fly over residential areas.  As a concerned community member, I made a plea to the CEO of Blue Hawaiian Helicopters, explaining that their helicopters flying over my neighborhood were too frequent, creating excessive noise. The CEO of Blue Hawaiian Helicopters was immediately responsive to my concern and made changes to their fleet's flight paths, directing their helicopters to take different routes to avoid flying directly over my neighborhood. Although this may seem like a simple adjustment, it has made a world of a difference for both myself and my neighbors.  We can hear our televisions again!  This significant alteration has improved the quality of life for residents in my community. I write this review to commend Blue Hawaiian Helicopters for their sensitivity and quick responsiveness to the people they live among. Blue Hawaiian Helicopters is a company that is not solely focused on the bottom line, but instead is conscientious to the needs of the people of Hawaii. I encourage anyone interested in experiencing a helicopter tour of our remarkable Oahu, to book with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters as their choice. As we continue to realize that we are truly interconnected on a global scale, strong support for companies like Blue Hawaiian Helicopters will benefit us all.

They have excellent copters, I recommend spending the extra $ to go on an Eco-Star model. We took the north shore tour, saw lots of great waterfalls, both on the coast and in the valleys that we explored. The pilot was very knowledgable & answered questions as people asked. Cross your fingers that you get seated in the front or on one of the windows because the two back middle seats don't have great views for cameras.

Just back from two hours of sheer amazement flying through some of the most spectacular scenery in the world! Our pilot, Toshi, enabled us to see lava flowing into the ocean and exploding like fireworks. From there we viewed the rugged coastline on the east side of the Big Island and up into a deep canyon to see beautiful waterfalls. An absolute must-do trip.

Great helicopter ride with equally great views. Marco was our pilot and he was very knowledgeable about the island. Did the 50 minute tour which was just right for our girls. He ensured that both sides could get the same views of everything. Got to see the oldest volcano on the island and all the beautiful waterfalls that now reside there. Well worth the price.

We had Chase as our pilot. We did the new tour that allows you to land and explore a waterfall for 30 minutes. The views are absolutely stunning and the waterfall where you land is unbelievable. The tour was a lot of money for our family of 4 and it lasted for about 90 mins...but it might have been worth it. I'll likely never spend that much money so quickly again, but I'll also never create such great memories with my family so quickly either... I'd almost say this is a MUST do if you come to Kona....it was a great couple of hours. Something you won't forget.
