Great comfortable trip with terrific pilot.

The staff are friendly and well organized. The pilot (Jason) was very helpful and had a great commentary on the sights along with making a good connection with all of us. The lava was super bubbly today!

Our pilot, Chase, was awesome. Took time giving everyone on board terrific views. We saw the red lava moving inside the crater, and went through beautiful valleys, green and with waterfalls. Highly recommended!!

Well, to say AMAZING serves no justice ... A true Blessing for me and my fiancé/ Wifey Marrying me here here on this Beautiful Island which is another Blessing, thank you Jesus ... Amazing, from being picked up at no extra cost from our Hotel to meeting the staff which were all down to earth, friendly, humorous Knowledgable ... My hat is off to this Organization, job well done Blue Hawaiian Helicopters, thank you for the ever Lasting memories ������

Our pilot Chad was really great, I know he does tours all day every day and says the same stuff over and over but he was still enthusiastic and knowledgeable. I respect the skill it takes to Safely fly a helicopter, over a volcano, while still giving a tour at the same time. My only complaint is that they made it really hard for me to purchase the DVD that they offer. I actually wanted to buy it but it wasn't ready after the flight I was told they have to "review the footage." And then I had to interrogate the person to get any kind of information about how to get it, when it would be ready, etc. I went back to the desk twice, once after the flight and then the next day to get the DVD. It still wasn't ready and then the next time apparently the only person who can release it to me wasnt there. I guess my only option is to have it mailed to me at an additional shipping expense and more coordination on my part. If you're going to advertise and sell a DVD then please actually make it easily available to purchase!

These folks are friendly, well organized, and deliver a great 45 minute insight into how the Big Island volcanoes created this paradise. I wasn't sure after seeing the Kilauea caldron the evening before whether we would get that far up the mountain to peer in (we did not), but discovered that there is plenty of activity closer to Hilo (where we started - they also have a Waikoloa location). We saw lava flowing into the ocean and learned that all this proceeds through "tubes" much more than the "rivers of lava" I had come to imagine. Our pilot found a massive tube around which we could see the underground progress of the red molten lava, and took us to a local cauldron where the lava lake was boiling and spewing the molten red stuff. Seriously interesting and well worth it.
