The tour is awesome to see the areas in Big island which does not have trails. Wesley was our pilot. He explained the different aspects very well and showed the lava flow very well. He is the best guide!! The trip was nice.

Ethan was a great pilot. He was very informative, offered great advice, and made the trip very enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this company and especially him as a pilot to our friends! Thanks for a great adventure!

AWESOME FROM BEGINNING TO END

TOTALLY AWESOME. VIEWS WERE FANTASTIC

I highly recommend Blue Hawaiian Tours.  The check-in staff was friendly and helpful.  The Ecostar is very comfortable with lots of space / head room.  Our pilot, Scott, was great!  He made sure that everyone got to see the features of the tour from different angles.  We got some great views for the lava flowing into the ocean.

Great tour!!! Our pilot Bryan was FANTASTIC!!! The flight was great and we got to see the whole island. My one complaint and this is kind of a big deal is that our helicopter compared to the other one had a vastly inferior video camera so the DVD they offer at the end of our flight looked straight out of 1985. We didn't buy it because the quality was so poor. So we are definitely glad we took great pictures in flight rather than rely on the DVD, hence my one star deduction. Would suggest asking which helicopter has the better camera. All in all great tour but they should get better cameras installed on their copters.

Our helicopter tour with Blue Hawaiian was the highlight of our trip to Kauai. We were able to see so many parts of the island that cannot be accessed by car. Our pilot, Greg, was awesome and very knowledgeable. I was nervous and hesitant to do this, but I could not be more thankful that I did. Greg flew in a very controlled manner, explaining each site, and even played theme music from the movies that were filmed in particular places. This was such a blast with the most breathtaking and amazing views, and I HIGHLY recommend doing this activity.
