Very accommodating informative pilot could not ask for better helicopter seated 6 but just took our family lots or other tourist waiting that they could have sent with us but didn't so everyone had great views pilot Brody is very good at his job in all aspects highly recommend.

Located at Hilo airport, easy to get to and big focus on safety which was reassuring given this was our first time in a helicopter for my family of 5- 2 adults and three kids (3,5,9). Our pilot, Ethan was a well informed local and made sure everyone on board saw the main sites, volcano - admittedly only small steam vents with tiny bits of red lava in the centre, waterfall and around the island. It was a lesson about the island as well as birds eye view of it! Would definitely recommend if you are short on time or not up to hiking with little kids and still want to get a good 'snapshot' of Hilo' main attractions

Took a Helicopter flight- piloted by the knowledgable and very proficient Chad, who took us over the Lava fields, saw lava flowing into the ocean, then up over the active volcano itself - able to see red hot lava. Then out over some amazing lush valleys with waterfalls and pools we would never have appreciated in quite the same way from the ground. The things which made the trip more special was sitting in the front seats and the Hawaii five-0 music playing as we took off !!! - a huge thank you to Chad and the staff of Blue Hawaiian Helicopters for a priceless and unforgettable experience.

Great flight shame they had us wait over an hour for our scheduled flight, finally after waiting no apologies just "its delayed. " Would have been good to be told on arrival rather than sitting and staff saying a word. Finally had a fantastic flight for 50 mins.

My first helicopter ride, Steve made us feel safe and secure. He made us feel like family and pointed out all the great spots to look for. It was awesome I recommend this flight to everyone who visits this beautiful Island.

Words cannot describe how awesome this helicopter trip was!  It was our first one, and won't be our last.  Everyone said, if you're going to Kauai you need to take a helicopter ride.  It was breathtaking! First off, our concierge recommended Blue Hawaiian and going first thing in the morning, so we did a 9am trip.  The Hawaiian gods were with us and we had the most gorgeous, clear day.  Blue Hawaiian is a classy, organized, dedicated-to-safety bunch.  And their Eco-Star birds have a lot of glass - we noticed there was much more viewing area compared to other ones we saw taking off. Our pilot, Shay, with his soft Tennessee drawl, was fantastic!  He obviously loves the Island and relayed a lot of knowledge to us.  He answered all of my questions ... and I had a lot.  I can't wait to go back and watch the video we purchased.  It was a little awkward because I was the only one asking questions, but I'm not shy. Words and pictures can't even describe the breathtaking beauty of Kauai ... the Waimea Canyon, the Na Pali coast, and the volcanic crater that we flew into.  It was simply indescribable. It was a smooth, comfortable ride and I'm so glad I'm not afraid of heights, because I would go again tomorrow if I could.  Worth every penny!!!

Greg was our pilot and he did a great job of describing what we were seeing. Highly recommend this tour and was worth the cost.

Brody did a wonderful job sharing the beauty of the island's great sites and telling us all about the history and the current events on the island. He provided lots of great information. Smooth flying and I am not a big fan of flying, but I felt totally secure and calm flying with Brody. Serene and scenic experience. Just a wonderful trip.
