Good sights. Pilot pleasant. Comfortable ride. Good view in eco helicopters.

We had a fantastic time! It was awesome to see actual lava in the volcano and the steam vents. I am a teacher and we study volcanoes and tectonic plates. I am really excited to share my pictures with all of my students! Thank you to Patrick for getting us close enough for some pictures.

Best Morning Ever!!! Jay was the best pilot we could have asked for. The views were breathtaking and the ride spectacular! Volcanos, valleys and waterfalls showed the best of The Big Island only available in the helicopter. We would definitely do this again!

This was something I definitely wanted to do. And I can say it was amazing! Definitely worth it. The views were stunning. Easy to book and very efficient and pilot was great.

The Big Island Spectacular is a must-do tour! The helicopter was fantastic, our pilot, Jason, was incredible, and the experience was epic. The helicopter was super quiet with windows everywhere. Every seat had tons of visibility and the pilot made sure everyone got a good look at the big features on the tour. Our pilot was really knowledgeable about all things Hawaiian and made the tour especially fun and enjoyable for my family of 5.

We had Chase as our pilot this week, he was very relaxed, had tons of knowledge, we all felt very comfortable and had great conversation. Chase also had an awesome playlist through the flight. We had one person who was worried about motion sickness, but she did fine. The break at Hilo in between really helps.

My family and I wanted to see volcanoes and waterfalls while visiting the big island. After much thought and discussion, plus reading trip advisor reviews, we decided to spend the money on a two hour helicopter ride. We loved it! Carl, our pilot, did a wonderful job and was personable and interesting. One recommendation, take one Dramamine tablet an hour before the flight. We did and felt terrific the whole flight. To circle around a volcano and see if drop off into the ocean was amazing. We also loved the valleys and seeing gorgeous waterfalls. Overall, highly recommend taking this smooth, interesting and lovely trip!

We were a party of six and so we had the whole helicopter. We had a fantastic 50 minute flight around the volcano and we watched lava flowing towards the sea and into the sea. We also flew by the waterfalls before landing. It was a great ride for everyone. It was very smooth and our pilot Mike was fantastic. Three adults and three kids 7, and two 13 year olds. My tip is if you are coming from the cruise, as we did, book online and save a lot $. Taxi from the pier is only 10 minutes and $20. Also you might get lucky like us, we got upgraded to the "better" helicopter and flew on the half hour avoiding air trafffic around the volcano because the cruise tourists flew on the hour.
