Beautiful way to see all of the island. Pilot Kristie made the tour enjoyable.

I can absolutely recommend Blue Hawaiian; professional operation, clean, courteous. They know what they are doing. Pilot Marco was friendly, engaging and knowledgeable. Helicopter was comfortable - get the Ecostar. We did the full island trip and were not disappointed. Weather was perfect; go in the morning, but it means getting out of bed at 5am for a 6.15 check-in. I would deduct half a star if I could for my only complaint, which is that it was not disclosed in advance that we would be switching helicopters in Hilo. That meant we spent roughly 20-30 mins landing, waiting, then taking off again when we could have been in the air sight-seeing. The process was as quick as it could be but I think it's a little unfair not to be aware of it when booking (maybe it's in the small print somewhere but it was far from clear). But, it did NOT affect the mood of the trip at all, which was beaming smiles all round.

We arrived at 9am for our 10am helicopter tour of the volcanoes and waterfalls. We weighed in and watched the safety video. At 9:45 we were informed that the tour was cancelled due to low cloud. Apparently this is a regular occurrence due to the frequent bad weather in Hilo. We were offered the chance to rebook or a refund and we chose the latter. I am giving 3 stars as Blue Hawaiian were extremely professional and safety is paramount but please be aware when booking this tour that it is frequently cancelled due to the weather in Hilo. We were staying in Hilo so it wasn't a great inconvenience but if you have travelled from the Kohala coast it might well be a wasted journey. When offered the opportunity of rebooking there was limited availability as many of the tours from the previous day had been rebooked to our day. I am sure on a clear day that the tour would be amazing.

The views of Hilo, the big island and the volcano are absolutely unreal from the helicopter, we were able to see the ocean entry of the lava flow as well as the lava bubbling at one of the volcano vents. Unbelievable experience and highly recommended!

This was our 2nd Blue Hawaiian helicopter ride (see Hilo), and it was different but still spectacular. Kawaii is a breathtaking island and seeing it from the air was completely worthwhile. Despite having seen the Nepali Coast from the sea the prior day, this was still a valuable perspective. The pilot was outstanding, and Blue Hawaiian has their operations running very smoothly.

We had a great experience touring Kauai. Seems that all go the same route for touring. Our pilot Marty was amazing. Showed up a lot and had great Narrative. If you have never done this I would highly recommend. It was worth every penny!

This was truly a once in a lifetime experience. Our pilot Christie was magnificent, referring to us as family, and making our helicopter experience memorable!!!! The windmills were fantastic!!!

This tour is a must do while in Kauai! Our pilot was Marty and he was so knowledgeable and so friendly. I was a little nervous as this was my first helicopter tour and he immediately made me feel relaxed and safe. The island is breathtakingly beautiful and seeing it from this angle was spectacular. I highly recommend this tour so that you can take in all the beauty the island has to offer.

Jack was a great guide. He made sure each passenger got a great view of each point of interest and answered every question.
