Pilot Brant was fantastic. It was a really smooth ride and he was a very nice guy, too. We also loved his choices in music. Brant did a great job of making sure everyone got to see the sights, which included a bubbling lava lake, and he made an effort to interact with the kids, which I appreciated.

Brodie is a wonderful pilot. As a Kauai native, his love for the island deeply moved us. We had the chance to see pretty much everything and we were lucky enough to see the crater with incredible falls dropping thousands of feet from the sky. Overall, I think it's a once-in-a-life-time experience and we truly enjoyed it. Until next time, see you again, Brodie & Blue Hawaiian!

値段がなかなか高いのでヘリコプターに申し込むか悩みましたが、結果ヘリツアーに参加して大正解でした。 広大なビックアイランドを２時間でたっぷり堪能できます。 ヘリは危なくないかな？とか 以前セスナにのって酔いまくったので揺れが・・と心配していましたが、全然揺れもないし、安心安全で日本人のパイロットさんが担当でしたが、安全運転と楽しい解説で快適です。 キラウェア火山は上空からクレーターをみたり、溶岩が流れている光景やオーシャンエントリーなど、地上からは見れない素晴らしい景色を堪能できます。また、溶岩が街を飲み込んだ爪痕も上空から見ることができるので、自然のすごさを垣間見れます。 そして、火山以外もビックアイランドはすごかった！！ マウナケアも同じ高さからみれ、ヘリの中からもスバル観測所の白いドームが見えたり、北の方の渓谷地帯の広大さは息をのむものがありました。 私たちは滝の上陸をオプションで付けたので、渓谷の中にある滝に上陸しましたが これがまた最高！ 車や船ではいけない様な場所に着陸をして、高低差のすごい滝を堪能できました。 人の手がついてないので、自然のままの滝と景色はすばらしかったです。 ヘリコプターなのであっという間に島内を１周でき、東側と西側の地形や気候の違いなども堪能でき、本当に素晴らしい体験でした。 ビックアイランドへ来たら、ヘリコプターツアーは絶対参加した方がいいと思います。というか、ビックアイランドにきて参加しないのは絶対に損してると思います。
