We enjoyed this tour very much. We've seen the lava flow from a boat. From the air you get a completely different view and you get to see volcanic activity that you can only see from the air. You also get a better idea of activity from the recent past certainly because the pilot provides you with explanations. We consider it a must-do when visiting the Big Island!
The pilot Scott was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. We had a lot of fun and saw some great things, including flying over dead lava fields, lava flowing into the ocean, over alive volcano, beautiful waterfalls and coast.

Our pilot (Beth) was amazing! Great tour around the island. Going in the crater and hovering was beyond words. Beth went above and beyond to ensure everyone in the helicopter could see the same waterfall swinging the copter around. Definitely recommended way to see everything the islan
I have been coming to Princeville with my family since I was a child, spending the days on the beach at Hanelai and looking up at the waterfalls on the mountain. It was truly magical returning with my mother, and two children, and having the experience of seeing the crater of the birth place of this beautiful island.
