We did the A-star tour of the volcano and waterfalls. It was a great experience. We saw where the lava enters the sea and makes steam which obscures seeing the lava. Then, we went up to the crater that is the source of the lava, and got great views of the lava itself. Our pilot Scott did a great job explaining things as we went, really enjoyed his music selection. We bought the DVD of the whole ride. They have a nice waiting area with video going until it is time to go out to the helicopter.

Amazing tour. Allows you to see things you otherwise couldn't see and in a very fun fashion.

Absolutely a must do. Well worth the time and money. The pilot, Barrett, was excellent and provided great information which made the experience even better.

We took our 1 and 3 year old against my better judgement and they both fell asleep within 15 minutes of take off. It was a stunning flight that literally brought tears to my eyes and I could actually enjoy it since the kids were asleep. The pilot and crew made it unbelievably easy to outfit the kids with the proper safety equipment, and eased my fears about taking them up. So glad we took a chance with Blue Hawaiian!

Brandon was excellent, made sure we all got a good view of things for pictures and videos. He was very informative and an excellent guide to what we flew over. He made it a unforgettable experience, me and my wife loved it and will recommend Blue Hawaiian to everyone!!

The trip was excellent and Scott was great. I enjoyed everything. The lava and the ocean entry was unbelievable.

WE HAVE FLOWN BLUE HAWAII AND OTHERS BEFORE. JASON GAVE US THE SMOOTHEST FLIGHT, YET. INDIVIDUAL ATTENTION OUT OF BOTH SIDES OF THE AIRCRAFT FOR PHOTOS WAS BEYOND GREAT. MANY THANKS TO JASON.

Jay was a wonderfully attentive, interested, and fun pilot and host on the aircraft. It was a gorgeous tour and loved the music, especially the Enya accompanying the valley tour. Amazing! Thank you for an incredible experience my family will never forget!

Captain Jason is an awesome flight instructor, and I simply loved my first flight training. I hope that I can pass the check ride and join the BHH Ohana. The tour is amazing, magnificent, spectacular and awe-inspiring. I loved the views of the Caldera and of the huge waterfalls in the Waipio Valley. I am a pilot but it was breathtaking. Flavio.
