I thought this company did a great job. From booking to pre-event communications, to ground crew getting us on the chopper to the pilot. Everything was top notch. The helicopter was very comfortable and it was fun getting to communicate with each other. Our pilot was very nice and very knowledgeable. And the tour we chose was really neat. The two highlights were the massive cliffs and waterfalls of Molokai and the bird's eye view of the coral reef. It was areally cool ride that I would do again in a heartbeat - IF someone else was paying. Honestly, I think the price is excessive. Was almost $300 per person. So it's a one time deal for me. Cut that in half, and I'd probably do it again every time I was fortunate enough to get to Maui. All in all, though, excellent. A must do excursion if you're in Maui and have the funds.

This was our family's first trip to Hawaii - and, like many folks, we spent a lot of time on this site doing research on activities, hotels, etc, and reading (what seems like) hundreds of reviews. And perhaps others here noticed the same thing, but the reviews for Blue Hawaiian were unique - they were not only overwhelmingly positive, but many folks expressed that this was the highlight of their trip. We had never been on a helicopter tour, so I was unsure if this would be true for our family...actually, I was worried that one or more of my family would not enjoy flying in a helicopter. Thankfully, everyone was very excited for this surprise excursion, and like many of the other reviewers, I can attest that his was truly a memorable experience for all of us. We drove from Kaanapali to the airport on the morning of our tour, getting their 45 minutes before the start. The process for checking in was very smooth and structured, and included watching a short safety video. We were then taken out to our helicopter to meet our pilot, John (who was just so very good at what he does). We were then given our headphones that not only allow for conversation during the flight, but allowed us to hear John's great soundtrack for the tour. We took the 'Maui Spectacular' tour, and opted for the Eco-Star helicopter (very comfortable and great views). The tour took us over West Maui, and then we landed on an elevated, grassy area under Haleakala. We were surprised with champagne (and sparkling juice for the kids), and spent about 15 minutes there enjoying the views of Wailea and Molokini. We then went up the side of Haleakala while 'Over the Rainbow' played in our headphones. As we crested the clouds, John pointed out the summit of Haleakala and no joke - my eyes were tearing up. It was just a surreal moment for me. We then flew around the east side of the island, over Hana, and back to the airport. A video of our entire trip - with John's great soundtrack - was available on a USB drive...which was one of many things we bought at the end of the tour :) I can't recommend Blue Hawaiian strongly enough. My thanks to John and everyone there for incredible memories.

Every time we go to Hawaii, we take a helicopter tour w blue Hawaiian. The helicopters are spacious, their pilots are knowledgeable, and the experience is awesome. Very professional company that runs a top-notch operation.

My family of 3 (parents + 6-yr old) took the Eco-Star West Maui & Molokai tour and it was great. Molokai is where Jurassic Park was filmed if not mistaken. Beautiful cliffs, waterfalls, valleys, coral, etc. Pilot pointed out a shark and a sea turtle as we flew over. One word of advice - check pricing with your hotel or Expedia. We booked directly in advance, but realized later that the hotel rate would have been lower and would had a bonus gift with purchase. We all really enjoyed it!

My husband and two of my daughters went on this flight with our very knowledgeable pilot Mike. Even my ten year old who is scared of heights had a great time. The experience was breathtaking and worth every penny. We spent 90 min on the Maui spectacular tour and saw the diverse parts of the island in all its splendor. My only two regrets are that the flight ended and that my other daughter could not accompany us.

O meu primeiro voo nas ilhas do hawaii foi em Maui, em abril de 2013, fizemos reserva aqui no Brasil pelo site da cia e tivemos uma experiencia maravilhosa, eu e meu companheiro fomos muito bem tratados por todo pessoal do Blue Hawaiian, eu estava com medo... mas foi super seguro e uma paisagem linda, recomendo muito, depois desse passeio nós voamos em Big Island e Kauai que é de tirar o folego...afinal de contas foi a viagem dos meus sonhos!!!!

Posso dizer que essa experiência é daquelas para guardar a vida inteira! é imperdível para todas as pessoas que visitam o Hawaii que tem esse relevo tão maravilhoso e selvagem! Nosso passeio em Maui foi incrível! Dei de presente para meu marido em seu aniversário e não poderia ter acertado mais! A empresa toma todo o cuidado com a segurança, trabalha com helicópteros novos, nós fomos com o Eco Star, que é todo aberto com vidros e oferece melhor vista! Fiz o passeio West Maui + Molokai que tem a vista da abertura do filme Jurassic Park e adoramos! Foram muito profissionais e o guia excelente! Não sentimos nenhum medo!
