Fantastic! Memorable experience. This was part of my husband Kevin's bucket list. He was just diagnosed with ALS in May 2017. So our family vacation Aug 2017 is to complete his life's goals. We were so happy that he could easily get on/off the helicopter. In fact, we were even able to land, get out, toast his achievements and get back onto the helicopter. Thank you Glenda! We will continue to reach for those rainbows to stand underneath them. Aloha everyone at Blue Hawaiian Helicopters!

Amazing, saw the lava and waterfalls, Devon was our pilot he was amazing, cant fault him or the tour, its big money and was slightly dubious but now were back it was worth every penny, highly recommend the waterfall landing and Devon was so safe and cool to fly with. MY ADVICE IS DO IT so worth it

We booked the tour of the whole island with Blue Hawaiian after using their services on Maui. Words cannot describe the beauty of the island from the air and the pilot, Brian, was very informative and provided an excellent narrative throughout the whole time we were on board - approximately 1 hour. The scenery is spectacular. From the lush green mountains, to Waimea Canyon and then to the rugged and steep coastline it was a jaw dropping experience. If you go to Kauai you have to do this!

We did the Big Island Spectacular tour and it was worth the money. Our pilot took the time to hover and circle around the sites so everyone in the helicopter could get a good view/photo. It was also nice that the helicopter ride was so smooth that the almost 2 hours flew by. We saw the lava bubbling up in the crater, flowing into the ocean and even faintly in some small fissures because we had a really clear day. The waterfalls in the Waipio valley and Hamakua coast were beautiful and were equally as impressive as the lava. I flew with another helicopter company on a different island later in my trip and they were nowhere near as professional as Blue Hawaiin. I thought the safety instruction was well presented, the loading and unloading was professionally done and we loved and appreciated the cool towel refresher, but mostly we enjoyed the skill and expertise of our pilot in his smooth maneuvering and hovering and turning so everyone got a view. Highly recommend this company and specific tour!

Great experience, especially if it is your first time in a helicopter. Our pilot, Greg, was awesome! He got us as close as you can get to the volcano and unbelievable views of the waterfalls, making sure each side of the helicopter got to see everything. Avoid sitting in the middle seat especially if you are smaller because you might not get the best view. Greg was very knowledgable which added to the journey. It is pricey but worth it!

Eli, our pilot was great! Good commentary and excellent flying. Stunning views of the volcanos and mountain valleys and waterfalls. Couldn't recommend it highly enough.

AMAZING!

Carl was a superb pilot and guide. He was knowledgeable about the volcano, lava flows, and was great about pointing out spots of interest. He circled the crater several times so that all of our party could get a good look at the bubbling lava within. We got great pictures and we're going home with great memories!
