Carl was a great tour guide. He was very friendly and funny. He was very responsive and eager to show us the many amazing sites. We got to see close up views of lava bubbling up from the caldera and flowing down the side of the mountain. We also saw beautiful waterfalls & landscape. We would highly recommend both Blue Hawaiian & especially Carl.

We thoroughly enjoyed our flight around the island with Brandon. He was a great guide who knew a lot of island information relative to the adults and kids in our party.

Carl was our pilot for the flight and he was amazing, took us on a full details tour and explained everything to us. extremely happy with the experience and definitely worth going.

Amazing Experience!

We could not have asked for a more perfect pilot and tour than Marty and the one he provided. It was so cool flying up into the canyons, and Marty flew the helicopter so there was no bad seat in the house!

Absolutely fantastic. Loved every second. Our pilot John, had lots of great info to share as we flew over the island, volcanoes and in the valleys. Spectacular. Highly recommend!!!

We had a great flight, terrific pilot, amazing scenery - pity we couldn't get any photos as we had to leave our tablet in the locker. They say tablets and ipads are too big and would block the view of other passengers. Rubbish! I had a window seat so guess which way my tablet would be pointing - dah! One person in the back with us had a camera, yes they were allowed, and she was pointing it every which way, blocking our view at times. Not happy at all. Guess it is geared so that you willbuy the video of the trip, whichwe did for USD 40. I am sure it will be great but I would have like some photos for keepsake. Bad move Blue Hawaiian. Customer satisfaction did not rate high enough with you. Tip, read the small print on your tickets! Oh, but by then it's too late, you have already paid, and it is not cheap!!

This was a great helicopter tour. From the moment you enter the facility to the Moment you leave everything is very well organized. Staff is all pleasant and well educated and very helpful. As we pulled in we past several other helicopter tour outfits many of which were just a sign and a helicopter. Blue Hawaiian has a beautiful facility with water, restrooms and a small gift shop. They will ask that you stow all belongings other than a camera and provide free lockers to do so. The actual ride was absolutely breathtaking, a wonderful picture of the true beauty of the garden island. Our tour guide Geoffrey was happy to answer all of our questions and provided great history about the various sections of the island we saw. We were able to experience the stunning na pali coast as well as the Waimea canyon and another similar smaller canyon. I am pretty suspectible to motion sickness and took Dramamine before hand. Parts of the ride became uncomfortable for me but I managed without becoming sick. Wear dark clothing and not a lot of layers as once you are strapped in you can't take anything off and it did become rather warm. Even with my nausea, this was 100% worth every penny we spent. If you get motion sickness, take Dramamine before and allow yourself some time after to settle before your next activity.
