Thank you so much Brody, we really enjoyed the helicopter ride. The waterfalls were breath taking and the Nepali Coast was beautiful. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to come to Hawaii or Kauai. Thank you again!

Let's just start by saying wow what an experience absolutely amazing. Now the details.Check in easy don't get nervous when they attach a life vest to you on arrival safety first. Cabins are cool and comfortable. 5 or 6 people per helicopter. We went on a 2 hour Big Island Spectacular flight. No restrooms so empty the bladder first. They did offer a bathroom break but we choose to keep going. For the most part it is no different than an airplane just a little noisier. There are altitude changes 2,000 - 10000 feet so your ears will pop several times. Now for the good stuff. The first 30 minutes were interesting flying high above Hawaiis terrain then the fun started as we got closer to the active volcano. VOG ( Volcano created fog ) can impedance visibility. You can see some of the steam vents and then the big show. Depending on visibility and volcano activity (A park ranger told me they call this the Volcano lottery everyday visibility is different). We had a pretty good day and had some great views of the lava pools. Warning some of the banking that the pilot does can get to you but for me the excitement and photo ops took control. Next out to the coast to see the Lava flowing into the ocean and creating new land mass. Again weather and VOG can impact visibility but we got som good views. Next off the canyons band waterfalls this is absolutely breathtaking. Again lots of banked turns just get engrossed in what you are seeing. Overall great experience although a little on the pricey side. A great way to see the island. Our pilot Greg was informative and fun. DVD of your trip is available of your flight for $40. Ft rest keepsake I will tell you quality of video could be a little better but a great memory of a great experience.

Spectacular journey and one we'll recall for years to come. When we flew into the crater it did feel like we had entered a sacred place and emotions felt stronger and more pure. Brody was a terrific pilot and brought the Island history and beauty to life. Blue Hawaiian Helicopters will definitely be recommended to our friends and if we are honored to return to Kauai, we will take another tour of this gorgeous place. Thank you, The Ray's - Jack & Lori
