100% must do, and worth every cent! Absolutely stunning views of the entire island that you just can't get from the ground. Our pilot Barrett was very laid back, funny and informative. Aircraft was clean, spacious and comfortable with huge windows. Seated 6 people. Blue Hawaiian was a good choice because of their eco friendly helicopters(less noise and pollution than other companies) and professionalism - they are clearly a step above the others. Will do again!

Aloha !! I took a helicopter tour with Blue Hawaiian from Lihue on 10/5/17.  Scott H was our pilot. The tour was pretty comprehensive. First they gave us a safety introduction film. They were professional as well as friendly. We got into the helicopter was was pretty nice, modern and roomy. Scott H flew us to many of the places you'd want to see, including to the original crater that formed Kawaii. He explained why the ground was red (not giving that one away), and saw the grand canyon of the island. So many waterfalls. Scott H was calm, friendly, informative and an EXCELLENT pilot.  I highly recommend Scott H and Blue Hawaiian.  They have 4 cameras in and around the helicopter to record inside and outside during the flight.  I picked up a flash drive after the flight with our video on it. You have to pay for it, but it didn't break the bank... hey, you are a tourist, Don't pass up the video. Anyway, mahalo Scott !!!
