My wife and I came here for our honeymoon, and this was the highlight of the trip! Brian was an excellent pilot, personable, and very informative. We were lucky enough to have the perfect morning and were able to go into the heart of Kauai, the volcano's crater. Anyone who is visiting this beautiful island should certainly do this tour! Blue Hawaiian's helicopter offered large windows and our pilot made sure everyone on the aircraft had a great view of all the major sites. We would highly recommend this company for all interested in seeing the island in the best way! Mahalo!

We took the Big Island Spectacular tour with the waterfall landing. If you have the extra funds, add the waterfall landing for $150, well worth it. Seeing the lava flows, crater eruption and ocean entry were so unique. Then there was the valleys; Waipio and the flight into the Waimanu Valley was indescribable. The amazement kept coming when we landed at the 800ft waterfall and got out of the helicopter. Super cool. After lots of research we decided on Blue Hawaiian because of the reviews, Eco Star touring helicopters which we thought had the best visibility and for the waterfall landing option. So glad we did, they were top notch.

We had a wonderful time site seeing on our helicopter tour covering the whole Maui island. The sights were wonderful and we did enjoy the trip. We elected to use their A-star helo which saved us money however the seating was very tight. Our two wives were seated up front and where so close to each other they could hardly turn. The one seating in the middle could not capture any good pictures due to obstructions. I had the same issue in the back seat by the small window. The door jam blocked my view and I had to look around the metal jam to see good. We had bench seating vs captains chairs for the ECO Star Helo. My back was sore afterwards. Overall it was a good trip but something to think about, cost vs comfort and better viewing.

We really enjoyed the literally breathtaking ride around Kauai. The ride was smooth even me, the not so good with heights. Our pilot has over 25k+ logged flight hours and extremely knowledgeable of everything past and present on our tour. If you happen to sit on the outside just keep taking pictures of the scenery you'll have some amazing shots.

I can cross an item off by bucket list; a helicopter ride in Hawaii.  This was such an amazing experience, worth the high price tag.  I would argue you can't even tell what Kauai is like without seeing it from the air.  Going down into calderas and canyons and valleys was awesome.  The pilot was a great tour guide with all sorts of stories and knowledge of all the places we were exploring.  They burned a Blu-Ray movie of our hour-long trip as soon as we got back, so we could remember every detail.  If this is your first helicopter ride (like me) don't be nervous.  You're in good hands.  Just remember to enter the helicopter from the front and you'll be fine. :)

This was a fabulous tour of the island from a view you can only get from the air. I'm not known for enjoying flights but this was incredible and, Kristi, our pilot was funny, kind, and informative. The ground crew was just as helpful. I felt very safe, comfortable, and well taken care of from start to finish. I highly recommend them!

Great flight...very personal and professional. Really enjoyed the tour of the island from your perspective. I am glad we have the jumpseat agreement with Blue Hawaiian. Hope I can reciprocate in a United jumpseat someday. My wife Sheri was not sure she wanted to do the flight but is so glad she did now. Thanks again for a great flight.

Brody was absolutely fantastic. His narration and knowledge was perfect. I really couldn't have imagined a better experience! People like him working for your company are ones to cherish. He made the experience one we will remember for the rest of our life and will share with everyone we know.

I gave it a 4 as at times it was difficult to take photos. Pilot Brendon was awesome and knowledgeable. He gave a lot of information which I thought was great. Sitting next to pilot I thought was difficult to take photos.
