This tour was fantastic, to see the lava flowing so luminous from the mountain side is truly extraordinary. This would be even more incredible to see as the sun starts to set.

BRANDON DID GREAT
Amazing!! Thank you for the best start to my birthday!
By far one of the most incredible things we've ever done. Only way to truly see the magnificence of Kauai. Enhanced only by the passionate, knowledge pilot - Brodi. Cannot recommend highly enough.
We took the Circle of Fire tour out of Hilo International Airport. We booked it online prior to our arrival in Hawaii. About 2 weeks before our trip I received a call asking us if we would be willing to move the trip to another day. They had a charter group they wanted to accommodate. As we had flexibility in our schedule I agreed to move it. They then offered us the dvd video of our flight as each helicopter has cameras on it. We were looking forward to that! The morning of our tour was clear and bright. We had no problems arriving at the terminal and parking. There is only paid parking available. It was pricey for an hour but it is an airport. I think it was $9. After we checked in at the desk where we were weighed, we went to the lounge where a dvd promo was playing of all their tour packages. Once everyone was there there was a safety video to watch. Then we were given life vest pouches to wear around our waists. All bags had to be locked up so don’t bother bringing anything except your camera. We walked to the area where the helicopters are. It was farther then I thought it would be. And we were split into groups. We lined up and they loaded us in. Our pilot was nice as he greeted us all but wasn’t too chatty. I would have appreciated a little more commentary. We don’t get super close to the lava but close enough to see it. So that is awesome. Afterwards we flew over some waterfalls. They were not that impressive but we work in Niagara Falls so there isn’t too many waterfalls that would impress us. After we landed we went back to the office to get the dvd of our trip only to find out that the files were blank. They said the cameras didn’t record anything. I don’t know how that could be; why is no one checking them before we take off? That was a huge disappointment. We were offered their dvd of all their trips. I think it’s the one that was playing in the lounge. I didn’t want it. I wanted our trip. It made me feel like they were lying to me since they had me change my plans and offered me something they had no intention of giving me. I would still recommend the trip.
