Captain Brian was amazing! Great sights throughout the tour...including full ride into volcano crater canon. Unbelievable views throughout the flight. Will request Brian for any future flights and recommend him to friends...great time! Mahalo!

Just wanted to say Casey did a good job and we had a blast!

My wife is not prone to heights and was a bit anxious. After a brief safety video and well-run orientation, you board your craft and staff make sure you are comfortable and buckled in correctly. As soon as we took off, she didn't have a hint of any reaction to height. In fact, the ride was very smooth and steady - and soon the beautiful sight of the Big Island was before us capturing all attention. Our pilot was very knowledgeable and pointed out several sites - including the most recent lava flow, an evacuation road that had a portion covered by lava in the past 18 months, macadamia nut plantation, shorelines, lava breakthroughs in lava fields, and the highlight - circling the crater active with splashing lava. We flew above the clouds in sunshine which was very peaceful and also viewed several waterfalls. We were on the last tour of the day- so the sunlight was softening and painting the surroundings with beautiful light. Passengers were encouraged to ask questions and great background music quietly played through our headphones as we toured - a peaceful yet exhilarating ride. All in all, it gave us a great sense of place - history - and appreciation for the captivating nature unique to the island of Hawaii. A perfect way to start our trip!

Our first helicopter trip was a memorable one, seeing a black river of cooling lava with some bright red hot spots in the crater. And we got to see some cool waterfalls too.

We went on a helicopter tour over the Grand Canyon a few months ago and the Blue Hawaiian helicopters are by far better helicopters. Very smooth ride, knowledgeable pilot. Only bummed that we didn’t get to see the crater, because of the cloudy coverage, but that is not their fault.

I have lived in Hawaii all my life and this is the first time I've ever done a helicopter tour like this. It was amazing to see parts of the island that I would have never gotten to see otherwise. It is one of those things everyone should do in their lifetime. Thank you very much to our pilot, Barrett, for a great experience!
