I had taken this tour on the Hilo side 3 times but had never taken the tour on the Kona side. For the first time, I got to sit in the front so I got a great view from the air. This is a mountains and water falls tour. If you want to see active volcanoes, take the Hilo tour.We did get to see a lot of water falls including the tallest on the island. But the highlight was seeing two whales from the air and getting an aerial view of their size. Our pilot was professional and friendly. These tours are expensive but worth it once. I suggest buying the video of the flight for around $40.

Wesley played awesome music and gave us the best, closest view of the volcanoes and waterfalls. highly recommend this trip. ain't cheap, though!!

We had a wonderful tour with our pilot Tony. He was so knowledgeable about the island and the land. He was very friendly and showed us things you could only see from a helicopter,It truly is a great value for what you see. The island is so unique you would not see some of its best features if you did not take the tour. We are ourselves commercial pilots and felt very safe and well cared for the entire time

Wow... all levels of wow. This was my wife's birthday surprise and I was thrilled with the results. Wonderful flight, narration, super helpful and thoughtful team. Everything ran super smoothly. We did the West Maui mountains and crossed the channel to the Molokai cliffs (where Jurassic Park 3's windsailing intro began) and where some of the tallest waterfalls in the world reside. When they started playing the Jurassic Park theme cresting the Molokai sea cliffs I think I started to tear up even... ?. Mike was a great pilot and guide and we hit it off right away. The stunning trip capped off with shots of whales from a birds eye view, flying through the West Maui cliffs to the other side, and even paralleling a 767 on the way in... always a great for an airplane buff...
