Absolutely amazing! Friendly and knowledgeable pilot. Highly recommend!!

The BEST experience ever. The beauty of the island takes your breath away and there truly are no words to describe it. Brian is spectacular and made our flight. Appreciate the opportunity to experience this and highly recommend.

We did a day trip from Maui just to do a volcano tour with Blue Hawaiian and it was fantastic. Our pilot was Ethan and he provided an excellent narration as we flew over Kilauea and Hilo. The helicopter had excellent visibility, even for myself who was in the middle of the back seat. It never felt like there were sights I may be missing. The views of the lava flows and open crater were amazing, along with the picturesque countryside surrounding Hilo.

Hier hat einfach alles gepasst, die BodenCrew und unser Pilot waren sehr nett und professionell, die Abbläfe waren gut eingespielt. Das Flugequipment war gepflegt und in einem Top Zustand. Auf dem Flug haben wir alles gesehen was wir uns erhofft haben, dazu gab es viele Informationen vom Piloten und einige extra Runden um Bilder aus verschiedenen Perspektiven machen zu können.

Beautiful views, with great tour guide as a pilot. Best way to whale watch as well.

A must do if only visiting for the first time.

Our first time in Hawaii and we thought why not experience a helicopter ride. We have never been on a helicopter and I must confess my wife, two girls (15+11) and I were nervous. Firstly we chose Blue Hawaiian for the reviews, they are available on all the Hawaiian islands, and they’ve been in business for a very long time. Getting to the heliport is very easy. Drive from any direction to the airport and you will see the signs for direction. We drove from Kaanapali (Highway 30 to 380) directly to the hangar. Upon entering the hangar there is a pay park kiosk, stop and obtain a ticket (2 hours is $7). Then proceed to their office, first one on the left. Once you go inside you check in, they weigh you (need this in order to evenly place you on the helicopter for balance), your seats will be assigned, and you wait to view the video with instructions on how to enter the helicopter, fastening your seat belts, life jacket, and general guidelines to keep in mind when in the helicopter. Don’t worry, if you forget the crew makes it easy, they help you with the life jacket pouch around your waist, fasten your seat belts for you, help you with your Bose noise canceling head sets, and how to use the microphone when communicating with the pilot. Our pilot was Mike S., an incredible person. Prior to taking off he gave us a briefing, tested to ensure every passenger could hear him and speak to him with the microphone. The seating is compromised of bucket seats, two in the front with the pilot and four in the back. Mike turned on the Top Gun song and lift off!” The take off was so easy, Mike began asking us where we were staying, what we liked about Maui, he even spoke with our daughters that had the privilege of sitting at the very front. Mike was very knowledgeable providing details about specific areas of the island as we passed over. My wife and I were seated on the right side of the helicopter so we couldn’t photograph areas on the left side. We kindly asked Mike if he could circle around to give us an opportunity to photograph and he did without hesitation. He did it over the ocean to photograph a cool shot of a whale with her baby, and a waterfall as we flew over the rainforest. Mike is a good pilot, he told us we were lucky as there must have been rain for the waterfalls to appear as the day prior they were not there. He even told us the founder of Oracle purchased a coffee plantation on the island, a $3.5 billion USD price tag! We opted for the one hour tour of the entire island of Maui. It was worth it as we saw “Jaws” the killer wave, parts of Jurassic Park’s movie location, the dormant volcano crater, the Road to Hana, and vistas that are a part of paradise. Loved this tour! Will recommend it to all my friends and family! Excellent job in every respect! Wish we could have talked to our pilot Brian after the flight more, as he is from Nashville and I am a songwriter and visit there frequently for business! Maybe next time!
