Must do while you are here. We have been coming to Maui for 5 straight years and always wanted to get it booked. Our Expedia Local Expert Andrea set everything up. All the staff at Blue Hawaiian were great. Seriously a must do.

As a former Air Force crew chief I saw a lot of the world through perspex. But I want to say that this tour was the most beautiful I ever saw. Well worth the money. My wife's first helicopter ride and she loved it. Yes, I would do it again . My wife bought the tape, although I wish there was more of the scenery than us inside the chopper.

We booked this whilst on a cruise so it wasn't as cheap as booking direct, but worth every penny. It's the only way to see the best of the island, and the pilot is brilliant, lots of knowledge ad a great communicator. Highly recommended

The ride was nice, although regimented, but when we returned I purchased the USB drive which HaD no sound. There seemed to be no resolution. They promised to return my 45.00 charge for this, but I haven't seen it yet.

We had an Awesome ride to Hana with pilot Glenda!! She was so professional and gave us the thrill of our vacation. This was our first of three helicopter tours with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters

Blue Hawaiian is the way to Go! I would recommend the early morning trips because the latter part of the day risk cancelation due to weather.

Welcomed by friendly and attentive staff in clean and bright comfortable reception area. Offered water tea and coffee immediately upon arrival. Also have high end vending machine on-site. After mandatory safety briefing video, promptly ushered into line based on height and weight of passengers. We were a family of five so paired with a nice single guy from Houston. After we lined up based on seating assignments we were ushered onto Tarmac and into our bird. It was a large, clean and modern Eco-Star. We were assisted by support staff in buckling up and provided Bose noise canceling headphones. As soon as doors closed the pilot introduced himself in a nice soothing voice and seemed very confident. My nervous daughter who was fortunate enough to have been assigned to sit immediately next to the pilot was immediately put at ease. We were originally supposed to fly over Hana and the neighboring crater but were retorted due to low cloud cover. The alternative tour took us through tight valleys and by stunning waterfalls only accessible by chopper or strenuous hikes which the kids are unable to do. Gernod was our pilot from Austria and he was full of interesting facts about vegetation, history and geological formation. The last part of the tour was a bit less interesting in that we were just flying over the resort beaches and Pineapple Hill where there are mega mansions of the super rich. All in all highly recommend if you don't mind the splurge. Definitely a memory which will last a lifetime for all in our family. Everyone agreed in saying it was on top activities of our two weeks in the Hawaiian Islands.

This us a must do. I took my 13 yr old. We booked thru Expedia. I saw some discount code in a tourist magazine that i got from rental car location. Great way to see all the wayerfalls. Great narrated tour by Glenda.

I was hesitant to go for a helicopter ride because I don't necessarily like flying or heights, however; this was an amazing experience! It is more on the expensive side, but basically everything in Hawaii is expensive. We did the tour over Maui and Moloka'i and it was beautiful. Our pilot was Glenda I believe, (the only female pilot) and she told us many things about the sights we were shown. She was great! This was probably one of our most favorite things we did! They sit you based on weight, but if you can sit in the front it has the best shots for pictures!

Went on a tour circling the island, including venturing out to Hana. This is the easiest and best way to see the whole of the island without having to endure the long road to Hana. Lots of waterfalls and beautiful beaches visible. Pilot gave a highly informative and insightful description of the island's culture and geography. Wish it could have been a longer tour. Ride was incredibly smooth.

Blue Hawaiian helicopters tours, I was booked on a 10.45am tour, unfortunately my GPS took me to the wrong airport on Maui (now know there's more than one airport on Maui) and I didn't make my flight. I rang them and without fuss they put me on another flight later in the day. When I arrived I asked about a refund for the difference between my original tour and the one I was going on, they rang the agent I had booked thru and arranged. Flight was great I got to sit next to the pilot. Scenery was amazing and flight so smooth.

Organized, friendly staff. Felt very safe while being taken by competent lady pilot along the south shores and over Haleakula dormant volcano. Good tour guide, warm personality, patient with kids questions. Mega expensive but worth it!!!

We did the West Maui/Molokai tour in a Eco-Star helicopter piloted by Rick. It's nigh impossible to describe how amazing this experience was, so I won't try. Just picture soaring cliffs, beautiful valleys, stunning waterfalls and you'll get some idea. Rick, our pilot, was low key, informative, and exhibited the perfect aura of cool confidence that set our group of helicopter neophytes at ease. Plus, he provided everyone in the aircraft fabulous views no matter where seated. Outstanding experience...just do it!

Highly recommended tour of Hawaii. The Maui Spectacular was well worth the money. Ask for Rick as your pilot! Totally awesome

The staff greeted us as we came in the door and checked us all in. There were five of us. After watching the safety video, we donned our lifejackets and stood in line. We were escorted out. They take your weight so the computer can assign you a seat. Upon getting on the helicopter, our pilot Mike T. introduced himself and gave us details on the new helicopter we were taking up. He knew our names and where we were seating so he could look at you if he asked you a question. As far as the views, they were spectacular. This was my first helicopter ride in Hawaii. The helicopter had huge windows so everyone could see and he would rotate the helicopter around so everyone could get pictures. He took time to answer our questions. It was a great experience.
