Upon the recommendation of a friend, we tried early in our trip to book a trip..because weather is always an issue. We were cancelled out on the Big Island (very dissapoitning as we wanted to see the volcanoe) but got to go in Maui. This is a "bucket list" experince NOT to be missed---well worth the expense. The eco star tours are exceptional and the pilots extremely skilled and knowledgaable about the island. Weve booked another on Kuaia and sure hope it happens as that is touted by some as the absolute best of the BHA tours

Tim was a great pilot who really knows the island, history and has a knack for conveying it all in a way that enhances the whole experience. The trip was breathtaking and is the greatest way to see the island from a whole new way.

Take the whole island tour. Our pilot took us out over the ocean and we saw about 35 whales! Great to see the diversity of terrain as you travel the length of the island.

Booked a complete tour of Maui but was unable to do the Hana and Haleakala Crater portion due to clouds and possible rain in those areas. They substituted a visit to West Maui and Molokai which was very good. The pilot's narration was excellent. But, to our dismay, the purchasable video of our trip was poor due to DVD format rather than Blue Ray or HD available on their other aircraft. I expressed my concern to a very nice manager and suggested that customers be advised ahead of the poor quality so they could choose another flight or carrier. She kindly refunded the cost of our video. A very classy operation. Great ride!

We waited to get to Maui to book our helicopter tour based on the weather forcast. Luckily, there were 2 cancellations in order for us to take the West Maui Mts and Molokai trip. Wear dark clothing - shirts and pants. If you are lucky enough to sit in the front, light colors will definitely reflect from the front of the helicopter onto your pics. Eric, an excellent pilot, trained in the military, was an informative guide and most experienced pilot!

I took my son and granddaughter on the "Maui Spectacular" tour with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters last week. It certainly was a spectacular experience and definitely worth the money for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We also ordered the DVD's of our ride and they were in the mail when we got home. Rick was our pilot and we were so impressed with him. We especially appreciated that he would go both ways to make sure both sides of the helicopter got to see the views!

In December my husband and I took the Oahu Blue Hawaiian tour. The helicopter company picks you up at your hotel and they take you back. The staff were fantastic. So friendly. They weigh you upon arrival. Don't worry, only the staff member sees your weight. We were lucky and got to sit up front in the helicopter. Our pilot was Julie. She was fantastic. This tour was well worth the price. I would recommend Blue Hawaiian Helicopter tours to anyone visiting Hawaii.

Took the West Maui tour. Amazing. Saw lots of whales, beautiful waterfalls and breath taking views. The pilot was humorous and knowledgeable. It may seem pricey but worth every penny.

We did the 45 minutes trip over West Maui and Molokai. Fantastic views and a completely calm flight. Our pilot, Glynda, was so knowledgeable and this company is one of the only ones that offers voice communication between the pilot and passengers for questions. Would definitely go again!

First ride in a helicopter! just a little nervous, but everyone at Blue Hawaii were great. The pilot Scott was great his cool calm manner calmed me down. then we took off and it was so beautiful I will never forget it! wished I could stay up there longer. My husband and will do it again and want to do all islands next time.

What a fantastic trip this was! Easy to find, On time, Clean and SOOOOO Informative! The office staff was great! Rick our Pilot was fantastic and really showed us an amazing time! Super excited we got to see the Whales all over the place from the air. Even got to see Whales and Dolphins swimming together. Pristine waterfalls and breath taking landscape you can only experience by helicopter. Then to the other side of the island and you could see the Manta Rays on the shallow reefs!! Then again...MORE WHALES!!! I was so taken by this I can't wait to go again next week on another island!! Thanks everyone...You were all Amazing!!

My first experience in a helicopter was absolutely incredible thanks to a wonderful pilot, Glenda. Being from Kansas, we knew we were in good hands with someone named Glenda! Thank you for a once in a lifetime experience of viewing this incredible island.

We did the West Maui & Molokai tour with Tim as the pilot. Tim was an awesome pilot who had tons of knowledge of the history and ecology of the Hawaiian Islands. We were treated to some great views of whales and dolphins playing in the ocean as well as waterfalls and cliffs on Molokai, simply amazing! I would recommend this company to anyone who is thinking of doing a helicopter tour in Hawaii!
