Blue Hawaiian and our pilot, Carl were very professional and provided great service. Our family of five, with 3 kids (youngest is 7) all had a wonderful time, it was the highlight of our vacation. We would highly recommend doing the waterfall landing, it was a once in a lifetime experience!

Ethan was a great pilot! The ride was way smoother than I expected - it was our first helicopter flight! He did a great job explaining everything and answering our questions. We saw some great lava flow too.. excellent job!!

Marty was awesome! He knew the name of every waterfall and trail on the island. He made everyone so comfortable that we forgot we are afraid of heights!

I was here last week and i forgot to check in.  I was too excited, lol!   I've lived on Oahu for the past few years and I never thought of taking a helicopter ride.  I have on the other islands but not here.  I had a friend visiting and she wanted to go.  What a treat!!!!  You see the entire island in an hour or so.  I will definitely be doing this again. Pilot Julie flew us around and she was excellent!  Julie pointed out everything and was very knowledgeable.  She really made it fun!  It was a cloudy day and we were not sure if we could fly up to sacred falls.  All of a sudden there was a hole in the clouds and Julie took us in!!! That was the coolest thing I have done in a while!!!!   Rather you are visiting or you are local this ride is a must!!   We also saw a whale!!!

We got caught up in some bad weather in Kauai (does such a thing even exist in Kauai?). So bad, that our scheduled helicopter ride had to be re-scheduled. Luckily, we were able to squeeze during the morning on the day that we left. ::Venue:: Blue Hawaiian has its own lobby, which is nice, when you are waiting for your flight. There is air conditioning, clean restrooms and a private parking lot. This might not sound amazing, but when you see the waiting areas for other helicopter companies in Lihue, Blue Hawaiian is definitely, much more luxurious. ::Service:: The entire staff was professional and courteous. We had the pleasure of flying with Pilot Shay, who was hilarious. He kept the conversation going with all of the passengers. He made sure that both sides had an opportunity to see everything. more importantly, the flight was so smooth despite windy conditions. My two gripes are as follows: 1. Our reservation stated that we would have the front seats; however, it looks like the staff overlooked this, when they arranged the seating for the morning flights. To my husband's disappointment, he was stuck in the middle of the back row; however, I do understand that weight distribution is essential for helicopter flights. It was more of a bummer than anything. 2. We got the flash drive video. We were so excited, because it was the one sunny day out of our entire trip, but some moisture landed on the camera so most of our video is blurred. This is obviously not Blue Hawaiian's fault. I will say that everyone should do this at least once. Kauai is so beautifully preserved and there is not enough time to see the entire Island. This was the best helicopter tour that I have ever had. It was worth every dollar.
