What a thrill! Beth, our pilot, expertly guided our helicopter around and through the sights of Kauai. She told us about the history and sights as we went along. The landscape was breathtaking! A must do on Kauai.

First of all, I wanna say thank you to Captain Joffrey! The tour was amazing, we were unsure about the weather but Captain J made sure to give us the best tour we could get. It was incredible to see Kauai from the top and the many sub climates we encountered. The Na Pali coast alone is worth the price of the flight, but when you add the soundtrack of Jurassic Park on the approach of the Falls, it really takes it to another level! Don’t wait, book it now!

Mark and I splurged and booked our ride before we left Atlanta. Our neighbor in Atlanta used to live in Kona and she recommended this business as the best and safest helicopter experience. It’s important to note that you must book a minimum of five business days in advance to receive the online discount website price s. We spent $600 for the 50 minute ride with waterfalls, ocean and Mountain View’s. It’s also important to note that they take safety very seriously and weather may change your selection or can even cancel your trip so be sure to have a backup plan for other activities in the area. Weather was near perfect on Tuesday and our trip went as planned. You must input your weight and will also be weighed at time of check in. Your weight and their requirements to balance load may result in being seated in an inner seat. My partner does photography as a hobby and wanted the window but because he is larger he was seated in the middle. Even the middle seats have great views so don’t worry. Toshi was our pilot and he was amazing!! He is their most experienced pilot and also very knowledgeable as a tour guide full of information about the topography and nature on the island. Each passenger received Bose headsets which piped relaxing music when Toshi was not speaking. The helicopter was an Eco Star and looked and felt like the Mercedes of helicopters. Toshi maintained a minimum of talking to allow us to enjoy the amazing views. 10 minutes into our flight a 360 degree rainbow circled us and was like nothing that I have ever seen. Truly amazing!!! Toshi tilted the craft gently to each side for everyone to enjoy views on both sides on the departure and return trip. We flew right up to cliffs and waterfalls that can only be appreciated from a helicopter. Dolphins and whales were easily seen from the flight path. If you are someone that is scared of heights or prone to vertigo then please consider this adventure carefully. Mark and I took prescription motion sickness medicine in order to be sure we would enjoy the flight. Flying on a helicopter is very different than a plane. You feel vibrations as well as movement from wind both vertical and horizontal. Weather was fairly calm on our trip and we felt that Toshi did an excellent job of balancing views and our safety. This was the highlight of our five days on the big island!!! We highly recommend Blue Hawaiian and Toshi!!

Beth was great. Worth the price of the tour. Can only see parts of Kauai by helicopter. Thanks Beth from one Buckeye to another. Beth was very informative and the music added to the experience and the scenery is like no other place in the world.

Our pilot Christopher was awesome! My 1st helicopter ride was great, will definitely do it again.
