We took the Circle of Fire tour with Blue Hawaiian. Although there wasn't any new lava currently flowing, the tour was amazing. We saw the macadamia fields, the volcanic shoreline and all the lava fields both old and new. The amount of lava on the east side of the Big Island of Hawaii is both unbelievable and gorgeous at the same time....but the best part of the tour was viewing the Pu'u o'o vent. Our pilot, Esther, flew us directly over and around the vent several times making sure everyone on board had an excellent view. It was one of the most amazing things I have ever seen and worth every penny we spent on the tour. Our pilot, Esther, was an excellent tour guide and was very personable as well. She answered everyone's questions and was just super nice and friendly.

We booked with Blue Hawaiian on recommendation from a couple of people. From the moment they picked is up from the Hotel until we got back we felt these guys know what they are doing. Safety is a priority all the way, and we had no worries at all. The flight was so good, and Brandon the pilot was excellent. Smooth flying and good commentary on the sights. He often turned around to allow all on board to get photos. Flying over Jurassic park scenery was amazing, as was the flight across the valley to Pearl Harbour - you need to see it from altitude to get a feel for what happened there. We had done a day tour of the island 2 days before, and to see those places from the air was amazing. Thank you Brandon and Blue Hawaiian.

Incredible tour. You need to do this in Kauai. Our captain Geoffrey was very gentle and allowed everybody to take the best photos ever. The Heli was also very good for photos, no matter were you seated. A must!!!

Outstanding experience! First time in a helicopter and I was a bit nervous but the staff and pilots are extremely professional and reassuring. There is no other way to experience the Island! I have visited the Big Island many times but saw things in a completely different way. Our tour guide/pilot (John) was fantastic as well with so much information about the island and sights. I highly recommend this experience and Blue Hawaiian Helicopters!

Perfect weather and the views took our breath away! Miguel was a wonderful pilot and great tour guide! A must to see the entire island, esp if you are here for a short time! Worth it!!! You will not be disappointed!
