More than met our expectations. Guy, our pilot was not only professional but fun to fly with and knew all the areas of interest. The views are spectacular from the air. A special mention to all the ground crew for taking care of all the safety areas for their passengers.

We decided to do the helicopter tour. We chose Blue Hawaii based on recommendations from friends & locals that we met on the island but the main reason was their reputation. Our pilot was Codi. He is vey knowledgeable about the island & felt comfortable with his flying skills. The views from above were spectacular! I would highly recommend this tour!

We did the 60 minute complete island tour. Amazing experience! Six passengers on each flight and although you get a good view from all seats the front or the seats on the back left are definitely the pick of them. From the right you can’t get great photos so just have to take it all in during the flight. The pilot provides plenty of information throughout the flight so you don’t miss anything. Hot tip - negotiate price with tour operators as they have to ability to offer huge discounts. The early bird price seems to be available at any time of day also so be sure to ask. We got $USD100 off per person which makes it really very reasonable for an hour in the air. This was our first time in a helicopter, and we will definitely be doing it again when visiting other countries. Fantastic experience and such a great way to view the countryside, particularly in beautiful Hawaii.

Went on a Sunday morning. Beautiful weather and views. Pilot was super imformivate. Ride was smooth and safe. A little pricey, but memorable experience. Wear dark clothing as recommended. This WILL help with cutting down on the reflection. No bags. No hats. Enjoy.

We hesitated to book the Big Island Spectacular because it’s pricey - thank goodness we went! It was truly awesome, by far the most fascinating helicopter tour we’ve ever been on. Best possible views otherwise inaccesible volcanic area and the Kohala cliffs, regardless of where you ate seated in the helicopter. Safe, fun and fantastic - thank you for every minute, Pilot Marco and Blue Hawaiian!

This was our first helicopter tour ever, and we loved it! The Maui spectacular Tour is 90 minutes long and really is spectacular. The Eco-Star helicopters are very comfortable and every seat has a good view of the sights. Our pilot, Rick, was excellent and very informative. The flight was very smooth and quiet as we listened to Rick tell us what we were seeing and then listening to some beautiful music through our headphones in between his remarks. Before going, I was a little concerned about motion sickness but had no problem on the flight. We saw waterfalls, rainforests, the Maui valleys, Hana town, Haleakala Crater, and then we landed and had a glass of wine at Ulupalakua Ranch on the slopes of Haleakala. They also film your flight including the commentary and music and it's available for purchase on a flash drive. Definitely worth buying so you can relive your trip. This trip exceeded our expectations and was the high point of our trip to Maui! We'll be taking one of their other trips the next time we're in Hawaii.
