Our pilot, Beth, was informative, pleasant, and fun to fly with today. Also, she had a great play list!! Mahalo Beth and Blue Hawaiian.

Due to weather our trip was altered for safety. However, the entire crew were extremely professional about it and pilot Jack took great care of us. Highlight of our trip!

Blue Hawaiian Helicopters blew us away! It was our second tour with Blue Hawaiian (our first time in Maui) A very streamline process from the moment you get to the heli-port (quick and informative safety briefing). Our pilot, Toshi, was very informative and interactive. His sense of humour and encouragement for questions (always answering them) made for a very interactive and great learning experience. Aside from his knowledge and expertise of the island, Toshi gave us a smooth journey, with some amazing up close views of waterfalls and volcano vents. We felt like we were in a movie! We highly recommend Blue Hawaiian Helicopters. The staff is great from the moment you enter, to the moment you leave, and the helicopter tour is out of this world (thank you Toshi!) We recommend paying extra for the waterfall stop - very worth it. A must do on the Big Island.

Great ride! Very smooth and the pilot paid special attention to allowing all of us a view by turning around and lingering in the best spots. Waterfalls, craters, fissures, fault lines, beautiful!!

One of the best experiences we've had in a long time, it was amazing and we look forward to possibly doing it again in the future! Highly recommended!

We had a blast at Blue Hawaiian in Kauai. It was entertaining, fun, beautiful, and interesting. The pilot and the staff on the ground were so welcoming and nice. Any worries we had about flying a helicopter were quickly flushed away when we had a safety demonstration and saw how modern, large, and safe the helicopter was. The views were out of this world, and great for taking pictures. We saw elderly people and very young children also having a great time, and we recommend it for anyone. We will definitely be back!

Best part of our Hawaiian vacation! A must do for anyone who wants to see the beauty of Hawaii in 45 minutes. Our pilot, Julie was fantastic. Epic views!?

Fantastic flight.....want to do it again. Jason was our pilot, great flight and scenery. We were happy to make this flight.....we were not able to make the Hilo flight due to cloud cover.......wonderful flight.

A must do experience. Got to see parts of Maui and Molokai on the tour. High water falls, coastlines, and part of the resort areas.

Julie is amazing! We told her where we got married and she flew past it for us giving it special attention for our video. She also made sure we was able to see a waterfall that popped up from the recent rainfall! So amazing! Thank you Julie!

We had made reservations for the helicopter ride (along with some other "adventures") through the concierge at the Hale Koa Hotel. That process could not have been easier. The shuttle driver who picked us up was very personable and professional. When we arrived at the airport and the Blue Hawaiian office, we were greeted, fitted with a flotation device, and shown a brief movie about safety. At the appointed time, we were brought out to the helicopters and loaded in, in the order that we had been given. Oh, there is a weigh-in, when you check-in. Brandon was our pilot and explained a few more things and brought our attention to the intercom system. There are times when the com system would not be on. Because of the air traffic around the island, especially along Waikiki Beach, the com would be shut down for his concentration. The altitude is about 2,000 ft. and though, at the beginning, it is mostly over the edge of the island around Waikiki Beach, Diamond Head and Chinaman's Hat, but once you get to the North Shore, you'll turn inland, and head in to the island through the same pass that the Japanese planes took when they were heading for Pearl Harbor. We had great views of the area where the radar station was (and not functioning) on that day. We flew over Wheeler Field and saw the helicopter flight line. And also over the Dole plantations. We flew near the Disney property and then headed towards Pearl Harbor and back to the airport. We were afforded great views of Pearl Harbor, especially the U.S.S. Missouri and the Arizona Memorial. We also saw three whales in the water just as we rounded Diamond Head. And, if you think about it, the fact that we could clearly see three whales in the water from 2,000 ft. meant that they were good-sized. We saw the Makapuu lighthouse and a C-5 Galaxy flew under us just as we passed over Chinaman's Hat. At Pearl Harbor, there was certainly a fair amount of boat traffic and besides the usual ships, there were a couple of subs. The last time that we flew on a helicopter in Honolulu, we flew on an open door helicopter. This time, it was closed door and way more comfortable. The only thing to remember is that you should wear dark clothing, to minimize reflections for better picture taking and viewing. When we landed, we came in along a flight line & hangars for a variety of carriers. Brandon did a nice job and we were very satisfied with the flight.

We really enjoyed our trip,Sarah was awesome...very informative with amazing knowledge of the history of the Big Island and the Volcanos. Great trip!!
