We had the most incredible experience with Blue Hawaiian Helicopter Tours! Our pilot was Shane. He was absolutely amazing and his knowledge of the island was great. Thank you Shane and other staff.

The Kohala coast tour was incredible, and our pilot, Shane, was superb. Both his handling of the helicopter and his stories about what we were seeing made this a very special experience. The history, geography, and cultural aspects of what we were seeing were fascinating, not to mention the whales we saw! We also bought the video of the flight so that we can relive the experience again and again. Unfortunately, for some reasons the photos that they took of us on the ground were lost, so the only suggestion I have is that you take some on your own camera just in case! But everyone we encountered at Blue Hawaiian was a delight to work with.

Amazing experience-beautiful and educational, must do!

Admittedly never having been in a helicopter before, I was 60/40 excited/nervous. But! As soon as Marshall took off the helicopter, I was immediately put to ease and the whole ride was amazing. I tend to get motion sick but did not feel that whatsoever during the ride (took no prophylactic meds). While this would be considered a splurge for many, it is an experience NOT TO BE MISSED! We saw sights we would've never seen in a million years by car, foot, or boat. Pilot Marshall was knowledgeable and his commentary spot-on. We even saw a couple of whales! The entire outfit is professional and we will definitely go back when we return to the island. p.s. we sat in the back row and the views were gorgeous. I'm sure the front seat is amazing but not a dealbreaker and less expensive to be in the back.

Out first time in a helicopter, and it was absolutely spectacular! Marshall, our pilot, was incredibly skilled and knowledgeable, making the experience both thrilling and informative. The views of Kauai were breathtaking—this is truly the best way to see the island. A top-notch adventure and an absolute must-do!

That helicopter tour is the coolest thing ever! The island is beautiful and the mountains are so spectacular! I would definitely do it again given the chance!!!

We played hard while in Kauia. We hiked, we did the zodiac boat tour, we floated the canal, and we ate yummy chocolate, but this adventure tops them all. Wow! Flying is not my favorite thing to do but I felt calm and safe in the hands of pilot Mark. The views are stunning and we even saw whales! Spend the money and do not leave the island without this experience. Upgrade to the front seats. Worth every penny!!

Our pilot, Tim, was very informative and educational . . . 5 stars!! My 3 star review is based more on a previous experience we had touring Kauai which was a 5 star experience. We asked to make certain prior to our tour that we would be in one of the helicopters with the jet engine rear rotor. Instead we were put in a helicopter that was smaller, windows didn't allow for great views, and definitely not as smooth a ride as we experienced before. The weather was not great and I don't feel we had the full experience that we paid a high price for. Also, to have to pay for parking after paying the money that was paid was a bit of an annoyance. On the plus side, whale watching from the air was incredible.

Amazing tour - you need to do the full 2 hours! Our pilot, Shane, was the absolute best. Extremely knowledgeable, passionate, and friendly. Felt very safe!!
