Captain Kris was a wonderful pilot. I felt safe, saw unimaginable vistas, and enjoyed his playlist. I decided to splurge to guarantee myself a front row seating and boy am I glad I did. The front row sat the captain on the left, me to the front and there was an additional seat in the middle. The back row had four seats. Had I been stuck in the back row in the middle seats, I would've been less impressed with the tour, but fortunately I decided to lessen myself with the burden of $100 and it was amazing. I'm giving it four stars because booking was a pain. I booked via viatour on the tripadvisor website and the customer service rep was just spouting advertisements for this other tour and that other tour. I guess viatour outsourced internationally and when I couldn't understand him he would get defensive and shout his reply in the same somewhat incoherent english...whatever. What really pissed me off was he gave me the wrong address to the tour site. Fortunately, I realize I couldn't be late for the tour so I made sure I arrived about an hour ahead of schedule. Due to the wrong address, which led me to a fire station on the other side of the airport, I don't know how the hell I was able to get there without any security, I had to call and have the local lady direct me to the right place. I made it on time and it was a blast.

I've been going to Kauai many years now, but this is the first helicopter tour I've been on. It was fabulous! Our pilot was wonderful! This is an absolute MUST - if you don't do anything else ... do this!

I almost didn't do this tour because I was afraid but fear not this was amazing. Our pilot Mark was amazing ,he is a Veteran who flew for the US Military so I was immediately at east. The scenery was amazing, we did see some rain and it was a bit cloudy but amazing. I can't recommend enough we were on a cruise but booked directly and saved a ton of money.

My mom (67), niece (18) and myself did this tour on December 2nd. It was wonderful and gave you a great feel for the vastness of the island. I took Gravol beforehand but it didn’t help much, I did get motion sick, but the pilot had Ricola cough drops and they reeeeally helped! I’m sure that trick has helped more then just myself! The couple in the front seat even got engaged on our tour! So lovely!

This was the first time me or my wife had ever been on a helicopter tour. 100% recommended for anyone, especially first-timers. Any fear we had going into the tour (of heights, motion sickness, etc) immediately disappeared upon take off. Overall, it was an amazing experience. Our pilot Barrett was a phenomenal guide and gave an excellent tour of the island. He engaged with all of the passengers and made sure everyone got a chance to take pictures of all of the beautiful sights the island had to offer. We were able to purchase a USB stick that had all of the audio and video captured during the tour as a nice memento of our experience.

Saw Kauai In the helicopter. It was awesome considering you can’t really get to most of it and you’re able to get into it. Beautiful views, long amount of time. Must wear light clothes to avoid glare as there are windows throughout. Pilot kris was great.

Seeing Kauai by air was spectacular but the Nā Pali Coast was jaw dropping. Our pilot, Beth, was a great narrator and super friendly. We were lucky enough to get seats in the front. You can purchase front seats as a $100 upgrade per seat. The video taken is high quality and $62 (provided on a thumb drive). We opted not to purchase since we had taken a lot of video ourselves. Tips: Book direct online for cheaper rates. Less than 5 days out is more expensive. If possible book after rain to increase the number of waterfalls you see!

Matthew our pilot was amazing, he was so knowledgeable and gave us an amazing tour of the island. The only real way to appreciate the island and all there is to see. The views were amazing and the whole experience is a flight of a lifetime.

I can't think of anything I've ever seen (aside from children being born or the joy of a wedding day) that is more spectacular! The attention to safety was very reassuring and I would highly recommend this since so much of Kauai is otherwise very difficult to see.

Wow!! Incredible experience. Our pilot, Wesley, put us all at ease. The view of the canyons and coast are unsurpassed by hiking or boat. I would definitely recommend you spend the money to take a flight.

This is the best way to see Kauai! My husband and I felt that the pilot's explanation of the various places we were seeing where very interesting. It was unfortunate that some photos didn't turn out due to reflection. Great experience!

This was my first time in a helicopter, and it was great. The ground staff explained things well so the whole boarding experience was smooth even though I was a first timer. our pilot was great in both steering the helicopter and leading the tour. He provided a wealth of information about the island to accompany the beautiful views. Overall, a very worthwhile experience. There is much more you can see from the helicopter than you can visit by car/boat on Kauai, so I highly recommend this.

There aren't enough adjectives to describe this adventure. I'm terrified of flying but went with my family and it was fabulous! The pilot was very nice and knowledgeable about the island. He answered all our questions and sent us away with funny stories. We did pay extra so two of us could be in the front seats and it was worth it. It was winter so we were unsure of the weather but it was a perfect day and tremendous views. Would highly recommend this company and this adventure for everyone traveling to Kauai.

We were in Kauai just after the New Year for a few days. We were never going to see everything on the island, but the folks at Blue Hawaiian helicopters got us a lot closer. Our pilot Greg started out showing us his house and gave us recommendations on hikes and restaurants and drives around almost the entire island. I was just disappointed we were not going to have the time to follow up on his recommendations. And it hard to imagine seeing the Napali coast any other way. The cliffs are just stunning and the perspective from the air cannot be matched. This was definitely the highlight of our adventures. We had some nervousness about safety, but Blue Hawaiian staff were friendly and thorough with their safety training. The helicopter seemed new and our pilot was confident and smooth. Everyone had a good time.
