Just after our 45minute tour of Oahu.we wondered about doing this because of price but are delighted we did,it is the only way to see the island and all the staff were exceptionly nice and professional,it was the highlight of our trip,

My wife and I had an extraordinary trip and tour of Oahu with Makani Kai Helicopters. We took the 45 min trip which took us around most of the island. The pilot/ tour guide did an excellent job flying the machine and commenting on the island's topography and history. The sights were awesome and the commentary was excellent. Additionally, the staff was certainly supportive in preparing us for the flight and coordinating the ground operations. Consequently, my wife and I highly recommend Makani Kai Helicopter Tours.

Excellent overview of the south east side of Oahu. Pilot informative and professional as was all staff.

This was my first trip in a helicopter and hopefully it will not be my last. We had Brodi as a pilot and he was not only a great pilot (made sure everyone could see the points of interest) but a great narrator of what we were seeing out our windows and some history. He was very knowledgeable and we had a great time. Great views & a great tour. I would highly recommend Makani Kai Helicopters if you are visiting Oahu and want to go on a great tour. It was worth every penny to go on this little adventure. Something I will not soon forget.

My daughter is in a wheelchair and on a portable ventilator. The staff went out of their way for us! It was the highlight of our vacation! Thanks again!

Kann nicht genau sagen wie die anderen Hubschraubertouren auf Oahu sind aber diese war wirkich Klasse... Wenn man auf Oahu ist, ist es ein abolutes Muss einmal einen Rundflug über die Insel zu machen. Der Pilot erzählt noch ein paar interessante Dinge über die Insel. Einzig und allein das Video, welches man sich nach dem FLug kaufen kann ist in miserabler Qualität. In HD hätte ich es mir sogar noch gekauft. Aber ansonsten alles Top.

We were on holidays with another couple and chose to do the "Magnum PI Doors Off" tour which was awesome. It was 50 minutes and well worth every cent. Brodie was our pilot and gave us a great tour of Oahu - plenty to see and very informative. We flew over many sights including Sacred Falls, Pearl Harbour, North Shore - Sunset & Pipeline, Waikiki, Dole Pineapple Maze & Ala Wai Yacht Harbour, which for those of you old enough to remember was where the Gilligan's Island fateful trip began! The tour itself was 50 mins but with transfers to the airport from Waikiki allow about 2 hours. If you are having the "doors off" tour, they tell you when you book to wear warm clothing - make sure you do, it does get chilly up there if you don't! Good fun, excellent commentary and very good at warning us when it was going to be a little bumpy.

Brody was our pilot and took us around the Island, pointing to all the sights up the east coast, into the north and back through the central part of Oahu. Gorgeous scenery, good information, a really cool experience.

We had an amazing flight. Brody was able to take us to places they typically can't go due to weather. I wish had booked a flight for every day we were on the island.

We took the 45 minute closed door flight of Oahu and thoroughly enjoyed the experience . we were collected on time from our hotel by the tour company shuttle bus ; watching the safety video en route to the airport is a great idea . Our pilot was very knowledgeable of the local attractions and only too happy to answer any questions we asked . views of the island were fantastic despite a brief tropical shower . highly recommended !

We took the Hidden Gems of Oahu Tour and it was amazing, from hotel pick up it was all first class!! Brody was our pilot and he did an awesome job. Would HIGHLY recommend paying the little extra for the 2 front seats next to Brody. It was a wonderful experience and would recommend it to any visitors!!!

Yes Do This !!!! We have been coming the islands for 15 yrs. This was the first time we did this on Oahu. Such a great team of employees. They take care of you from the first call all the way thru to taking you back to your hotel. Th4e helicopter ride was fab !! Our pilot was very informative and fun to listen too. We saw the Sacred Falls, Pearl Harbor the way they pilots saw it that infamous day, the pineapple maze (looked for the routes) and so much more. Very worth it. Skip all the others and hook up with this company !!!!

Great company, great employees and another great experience!! This was the fourth time we flew with Makani Kai and it couldn't get any better. From the time you are picked up at your hotel until the return, you are treated like friends of the family. Brody was out pilot and he conducted the tour with humor and a lot of interesting info. If you can swing it, try it. You won't be disappointed and you will have a memory for a lifetime.

This was definitely the highlight of my first visit to Honolulu. Friends in Australia recommended a helicopter flight to me, and new friends from the US mainland recommended that we take a trip with Makani Kai, and ask for Brody which we did. Brody's knowledge and profound respect for the island plus his fabulous piloting skills was such a perfect match to the unbelievable scenery below us at every turn! This is money well spent, and not to be missed. I also want to commend our driver Quinten for his great service to and from the hotel, including the safety briefing and his pre-flight service. C'était magnifique ! Nous avons réservé notre tour une semaine avant le départ sur internet car c'était moins chère. En plus ils viennent vous chercher à l'hôtel et vous ramène après. Pendant le trajet, on nous a expliqué comment ça aller se déroulé et aussi si on avait des questions, très professionnel ! Et là vient le moment du décollage : on a eu droit à la musique de la série Hawaii 5-0, on s'y serait cru ! Notre tour a duré 1 heure et c'était tellement magique que tu ne vois pas le temps qui passe. Le pilote était super, il nous a bien expliqué chaque endroit survolé, nous avons commencé par survolé Waikiki beach, puis Diamond head, coco head et pleins d'autres et surtout les cascades : sublime ! Un moment gravé à jamais dans nos mémoires.
