It’s really worth it, my family and I enjoyed a lot. It’s a great opportunity to get to know the whole Oahu island and it’s beauty. The pilot Loren made the 50 minute trip really special for my kids.

While helicopter rides aren’t cheap, I would suggest you do this at least once in your life. This company is very professional and helpful! After you check in, there is a short wait. After viewing a short safety video you are equipped with a personal flotation device. The instructions are clear and simple to follow. Safety is number one with them. You can not take a purse our bag with you but you are provided with a locker. You may take your phone and little camera. We enjoyed our flight and purchased the video of our flight. It is on a thumb drive so you can make as many copies as you like. I think the video is @$60.

We loved the whole thing. Our pilot was very informative a d funny. He made the ride even better. We felt safe and enjoyed every minute.

This was our first time in a helicopter. It was awesome! Such a great perspective of the island. We went mid week and it was super cool to see from the air some of the places we had experienced on the ground first. Our tour was running a full hour behind, but they more than made up for it by giving us a private tour and the video at no charge and making sure we comfortable while we waited. Service was awesome, very attentive to safety, comfortable area to wait. Had so much fun! I highly recommend them. First class all the way!

I loved it from begining til end, being a EMS pilot I love seeing things from the air, There was just so much beauty to see. The pilot was very friendly and had a lot of information to share. I would not visit another island without taking another Blue Hawaii tour

We had Christopher as our pilot..good smooth ride. He made sure to circle around to have everyone see the beautiful aerial views. We were a bit late and the company was understanding and allowed us to keep our time for our eco tour flight.

This was wonderful! Our pilot was Loren and he gave great commentary pointing out all the sights, info, and fun facts that we should know. I would recommend this to anyone interested in taking a tour of the islamd.

Greg our pilot was great. My kids loved seeing the Jurassic Park landscape and he had the music playing. The Northshore was beautiful and he gave us great detail on the whole island. So much fun.

Highly recommend!! We enjoyed our tour with Ethan. He was very knowledgeable and charming! I think this company is very thorough- you feel safe from beginning to end. It was also my first helicopter experience and I feel that it was a very smooth ride. Ethan gave us a heads up each time he turned, etc so I really appreciated that. It was really cool getting to see the volcanos from an aerial point of view. There is also video footage from your flight that you can view if you wanted to purchase as well. This was the highlight of my trip!

We booked the Circle of Fire tour with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters so that we could view the volcano from the air. We were really excited about the experience and we weren't disappointed at all. Our pilot, Will, was a fountain of entertaining information and we felt very safe with him. He made sure that everyone in the helicopter got to see all the sights of interest and he captured our attention for the entire hour flight. That was a memory we will cherish for the rest of our lives. If you can afford it, FLY!

Ironically I was on the same flight! I was in the front seat with my daughter, 7/21/05 and I remember the folks in the back, also from Pennsylavania, another irony. We too were very disappointed that there was no video and the ground crew had no "back up plan". I had hoped perhaps they would have other videos available for purchase, but they did not. I have searched the internet in the hopes of finding a video. Overall, the flight was magnificent; George was great and it is an experience I'll never forget.

My wife and I did the 2 1/2 hr tour from Kona which took us over the volcano, to Hilo, and the waterfalls and valleys before returning to Kona. The helicopters are wonderful providing a great view of the scenery. The staff and pilots were very friendly and informative. The Eco star chopper is definitely worth upgrading for. We had a blast. The only negative is if you get the video the quality is poor even for DVD. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this acitvity!!!!

We took the limo van on the road to Hana, we heard it was a wild ride but the driver did'nt stop at alot of places, and when he did it was for a very short time. The scenery was absolutely beautiful and we would have liked to spend more time hiking and exploring. Next time we will drive it ourselves, you just need to take your time. However the Helicopter ride on the way back to Kahalui was awesome. Seeing the coastline, with the waves crashing into the massive lava rocks was amazing. The arial views of Haleakala and the 200 year old lava flows was breathtaking, not to mention the waterfalls. The only complaint is that we wanted it to be much longer of a flight, and closer to the ground. Our pilot Eric was very knowledgeable and gave us some very interesting information about the island.

I have been on Blue Hawaiian Helicopter Tours on Maui, Big Island, and Kauai. I cannot imagine a better experience with any other company. The pilots are certified Hawaii Tour Guides and all very knowledgeable. The highlight is being able to purchase a DVD of your tour with great 360 degree views. The best way to see Hawaii is by air... with Blue Hawaiian.

I wrote that I had a bax experience, the owner called me and after I described my experience, he refunded my trip. I had a bad experience but an excellent company. I WOULD try them again.
