Actual booked with sister operation: Hawiian Helicopter. Been to Maui 3 times pior to this trip, wish we would have taken a helicopter trip the very first time we set foot on the island 14 years ago. We have driven all over the island and seen some amazing sights but nothing can compare to an aerial view of the West Maui mountains or the island of Molokai. Our family of 4 had the helicopter or ourselves, it was the smaller A-Star which suited us fine and was a better deal than the newer/larger model. Our pilot was exceptionally friendly and informative. I am not a fan of heights and was not sure if I would be able to handle the flight. The pilot of along with the ground and office staff made everyone in the family feel comfortable and welcome. Hawaiian Helicopter provided me with one of, if not the most enjoyable Maui experience. If you do only one thing while in Maui, make a helicopter tour, you will not be disappointed.

Thank you to all the staff and crew for making this an epic birthday for my hubby, especially Rick who was not only a brilliant pilot but also generously shared in-depth knowledge on our tour! I’m especially grateful they went out of their way to accommodate my seating request, I could not have asked for a better experience.

Had a phenomenal flight with Derek. He went out of his way to know all our names and he provided an excellent commentary with great tunes. My two kids, husband and Father-in-law all really enjoyed it. We would LOVE to do another tour with Derek. It is not to be missed.

The whole experience from arriving, flying and departing was a class act all the way. Great instructions, great customer service and friendly staff. We flew the West Maui & Molokai. The pilot was excellent in his instructions, communication in flight and describing all the sights along with some history to go with it. Everyone should fly in a helicopter at least once...it's a great experience!

First: it was worth it to pay the extra money for the bigger windowed helicopter. We were lucky and got to sit up front next to the pilot. The views were spectacular and the pilot was very good at giving us a bit of information and letting us basque in the scenery. Wonderful experience that we will never forget!

This was by far the best thing we did on our trip to Hawaii. Our pilot Mike was great and gave us good insight on Maui. He remembered names and would point out what to see as we are coming upon. The whole experience was fantastic and the view of West Maui and Molokai are breathtaking. If you budget allows it - this is a must do.

This was totally worth it, the Scenery we saw was amazing. we even saw some whales from the air. The Pilot had a great personality he was fun to be with. The staff and ground crew were really friendly. It was very easy to get checked in they took good care of us.

Once in a lifetime experience and I felt very comfortable with the pilot and the helicopter, two important items that could make or break a trip!!! My daughter and I got front seats alongside the pilot and while I was alittle freaked out about it, the pilot briefed us immediately once we sat down (this in addition to the safety training brief before we boarded) and made me feel relaxed. He even engage all of us in conversation that it made you forget how high we were in the sky over the Pacific and how close the cliffs were!!! All in all, a fantastic trip and one I would do again!

Whales, turtles, mountain tops, waterfalls...beautiful scenery from the air! What an incredible trip this was! Perfect weather too! Incredible to see and experience! The pilot - Mike - was very professional and gave us an awesome tour! Pretty amazing that my husband agreed to go...since he’s a heli pilot himself! He mentioned the fleet is well looked after, helicopters looked top notch, and our pilot was very experienced! We both felt very safe and enjoyed our trip very much! Highly recommended!!!

Loved the west Maui/ Molokai flight. Our pilot was awesome, funny and very knowledgeable about all the islands . We had booked through our Expedia rep at our resort and it was very smooth, check in was a breeze and the ground crew and all staff were super nice. Would recommend this to anyone.

I live on maui so I’d wanted to go for a helicopter tour for a while and did my checking into company’s for a while trying to decide so I was so excited when my friend said that was on the top of her list of activities! We had an amazing time on this tour it was just beyond my imagination at how beautiful this tour was! I highly recommend the West Maui Moloka’i tour as it’s the only way to see West Maui Mountains. There’s not the ability to hike and adventure into the west side like there is on Hana side and it’s much more fun to see hana on land and hiking it witch is not an option for West Maui so choose this side of island! With the bonus of seeing the highest sea cliffs in the world there’s no comparison between the 2! On top of that The Piolet was knowledgeable and made it lots of fun also pointing out whales and ocean life as well as other sights! I would defiantly recommend this company as I also believe they have the highest safety rating for helicopter tours or did when I was looking into them!

Weather was a little rough but Jack did a great job. He took us through areas that were clearing and avoid the bad weather as much as possible. He provided some great information on the islands and made sure everyone in the back had a chance to see the important stuff. He even circled around over the ocean to point out some whales. Overall a great experience.

Blue Hawaiian Helicopter Tour was awesome, their phone staff, front desk staff, grounds crew and pilot Mike Thatcher were outstanding!!! They were so accommodating and helped make our day. We had originally booked with Air Maui 5 days in advance and they cancelled on us when we nearly arrived at the hanger that morning for our scheduled time - they had sick pilots, some on vacation and mechanical issues. So if you want to take a helicopter tour be sure to go with Blue Hawaiian, and request Mike Thatcher as your pilot!!!!

We initially booked Hana and Haleakana tour, but it was cancelled due to the low cloud condition. So we switched to Molokai and West Maui tour. We saw the tallest waterfall in Hawaii and the highest sea cliff in the world on this tour. Not to mention that we spotted a whale family on the way back. The pilot was very nice and took a few minutes flying around and we then saw a few more whale families in the ocean. The tour is not cheap, but it is worth every penny! This is a must-do activity in my opinion.

Did this tour as an excursion from a cruise. It is a 40+ minute ride from the ship to the airport, which seemed particularly long. David, our pilot, did a good job showing us sites around Maui. The most impressive part of the flight was the 4000-foot sea cliffs on Molokai. Seeing our ship from the air was pretty cool. David was knowledgeable, but could have offered more info during the flight.
