I selected Blue Hawaiian Helicopters service after watching a segment on one of the cable channels. Their flight experience with the host was exactly what we were looking for. You can pay a slightly higher price to sit in the front however, every seat offers you a great experience. We had an on-time departure and a wonderful pilot. The views were incredible as well as the information provided to us by the pilot. Each passenger is equipped with a headset and microphone so you could communicate with the pilot. The pilot took the time to turn the helicopter in various directions so that no matter which seat you were in you were able to see the sights. Having years of experience of flying as a passenger in a helicopter I can assure you that our pilot was greatly skilled in his abilities.

We took our second blue Hawaiian helicopter tour yesterday. We had previously been on an amazing one in Oahu. The ultimate Maui experience was great ... 90 minutes seeing the entire island. Our experience was different than friends who did the same tour the previous day though so if you are going to spend this much money for the ultimate tour - make sure you get one of the most experienced pilot. We didn’t see some of the things that our friends saw more up close like the beaches at Hana.

Another Local Favorite. Have done the West Maui to Molokai, the Maui Spectacular and the West Maui trip and they ALL have their amazing views and interesting sights. My favorites by far is the West Maui to Molokai with waterfalls and the highest sea cliffs in the world off of Norh Shore Molokai it’s something out of a story book and well worth every penny.

It was such a great helicopter trip.. remember to wear DARK clothes to avoid reflections on the helicopter!! It’s very important.. you don’t want all your pictures with your white shirt reflected ... those afraid of heights should think twice before going..

Family of 4 did the complete Maui tour. Blue Hawaiian staff is professional and serious about safety. Ken was our pilot and did a great job telling us about all the sights. He was very professional and got us back safely! The ride was very smooth and we were lucky to have perfect weather! While it’s not as picturesque as Kauai, it was nice to see all of Maui. Highly recommend Blue Hawaiian.

The Maui island helicopter tour was by far the highlight of our stay and confirmed that it was the best way to see the whole island. Our pilot Hugo was very professional, polite and informative of the many wonderful features of Maui. We also got to experience a short landing on the green foothills of a ranch for a champagne while enjoying the beautiful views. Although not the cheapest activity to do it is by far the most scenic and gives you an appreciation for the beauty of Maui you can’t get from driving around. The sheer number of spectacular waterfalls in the rainforest mountains was something you will never forget.

Family had a great time. Due to weather over Hana at the time our trip changed to include a tour of Molokai instead. We still got most of the island of Maui covered too except the East side that was covered in clouds. The waterfalls are breathtaking! Mike S., our pilot, was great! Very informative and gave us a grand tour of everything around the island and the history of Hawaii. They do recommend to wear dark clothes to avoid reflections in the pictures. Listen to them, I only had light colored shorts but wore a dark shirt. Needless to say, my shorts are in almost all of my photos. Regardless, it was worth it. Will have the memories to last a lifetime.

This has to be one of the best ways to see Maui! From the air, you can see all the wonderful sights, as well as a few you may not have known existed. Traveling through the West Maui mountains, around Haleakela, Hana, and many sights that are difficult at best to get to by car. This is a definite bucket list item for everyone! Seeing Maui from the air gives you a whole new perspective on the island and its wonders!

We chose Blue Hawaiian since we had a great experience with them on the Big Island. The entire process from booking the tour to completion was very positive. We sat in the front seat for an additional charge. Derek, the pilot, was incredible with non stop facts about locations and the volcano. We had a smooth, safe flight with lots of memories captured on video. In addition, Kekai, booked our Helicopter reservation. When I asked for a Hana recommendation she suggested Temptation Tours for a private, small group tour to Hana. That was a winner as well!

This was the first helicopter trip for may wife and myself. We previously had one booked in Kauai but had it cancelled due to weather. Our trip was incredible. Mike was our pilot and was entertaining and informative. We did the complete island tour and enjoyed it tremendously. It truly gave us a better perspective of the island while traveling around later. With the trip it also allowed us to see places that are not accessible other than by air. This is a trip that I would highly recommend for anyone!

We reserved the front seats and the views of Maui were amazing. Highly recommend if you take this tour to call ahead and reserve front seats. Absolutely stunning views!

This was our first helicopter experience and worth the time and cost. Service was excellent and our pilot was very safety oriented and gentle with us first time Heli fliers. He also was a great guide answering questions and explaining the scenery below. We very much enjoy this trip and will rebook for a different Maui adventure on our next visit.

I was apprehensive about going, but the ride in the EcoStar was smooth and safe. Most of the view are only accessible from the air. We did the road to Hana a few days earlier and this helped put places in context during our flight. The mid-flight landing and champagne toast were unnecessary and consumed valuable time that would have been better spent in the air. It would have been nice to see, or land on the summit, and see the observatories. The flight was short and expensive, hence the Very Good rather than Excellent rating.

We Did the complete island tour and Thought it was simply amazing! My parents had never been on a helicopter before and they loved it as well! Our pilot, Bruno was very knowledgeable about the islands and what we were flying over. He made sure that both sides of the helicopter got good pictures of everything. He was the best any pilot could be! Highly recommend!

My wife and I are in total agreement… Tim was a superb tour guide and pilot. We thoroughly enjoyed our adventure. Tim was knowledgeable, caring and made our adventure even that much more exciting. He complemented the remarkable natural beauty with facts, figures and awesome commentary. We particularly appreciated his knowledge and respect for the Hawaiian people and culture.
