Our helicopter ride was great. However, we were the 3rd of 3 trips to take off and we had to wait over a not very interesting area for the other helicopters. This meant we had a very short view of the Na Pali coast which is the highlight of any Kauai helicopter trip. I felt very safe with our pilot but I felt he was under time pressure to get us back, even though we had taken off last and waited. Safety is most important but I thought we got shorted on the Na Pali Coast.
We took this tour our first day in Kauai and it was amazing! Jason was our pilot and was very good. We learned a lot and saw some spectacular views. Highly recommend it to everyone!
Brian was our pilot and did an amazing job! The helicopter is the only way to truly see all of the beauty of Kauai. It was worth every penny!
We went on the eco helicopter tour in Kauai during our honeymoon. It is a must do!!!!! Worth every penny. There are not even words to describe the beauty. Our pilot Miguel was great, very skilled and personable!
While we had a great tour guide name Guy!I But didn't know where my microphone was located! I had ONLY about a hundred questions to ask and the rest of the guests of the tour were relatively silent! I must say the tour was quiet informative! My NEGATIVES! The DVD's are ONLY FLASH DRIVES,-NOT -DVDS as promiised on their webisite for $40! They are a very OVERPRICED, OVERVERTISED AND OVERHYPED at $60 at everyones surprise at checkout!! No website update! The ladies at the front desk agreed with the constant complaing as they're having to take the flack for the complaing about the price increasing from $40 to $60 without a notice on the webisite or the internet. How dare Blue Hawaiin put their front line ladies to take the brunt of complaint? Nor the fact of answering the questions of why the tour is so expensive and what happened to the free tshirt? But if this is the only tour you can or wish to do this one is a good on to do. Howeveve , don't get sucked into buying the $1.29 flashdrive that you will probably never watch again anyway! Opt for instead the $20 version around the island. In fact I think it is of all the islands. Mahola!
This was our first helicopter tour when visiting Hawaii and we really enjoyed getting a great view of all of Kauai from the sky which helped us map out a plan for what we wanted to see for the remainder of our trip. Given so much of Kauai can not be accessed via land, it was great to get a panoramic view of the entire island. There were some great views of waterfalls and the Waimea grand canyon. The music was well-themed with the different experiences across the island, as well as some of the movies that were filmed on Kauai. Our pilot Beth did a great job providing interesting insights about the island throughout the trip. The helicopter experience was very comfortable and provided great views for picture taking.
I took my 12 year old granddaughter for her first ride. They made her feel comfortable and secure. I've taken this tour before so I knew she would enjoy the lush mountains and majestic 2500ft waterfalls. The staff is efficient and very accomadating.
Amazing tour. Our guide was wonderful. He was witty and informative. He made the helicopter tour a great adventure. The only thing I was disappointed was the "scam" they get you in before you board the helicopter. They won't tell you where you are sitting and how many persons the helicopter is. So they want you to pay an additional $100 to "guarantee" a front seat. We were a party of 5 and the helicopter we had was for 6 people. But we did not know that and they didn't tell us that upfront. So we paid an additional $100 and I was placed in the front middle seat. Unfortunately I got a great view of the helicopter controls. I would have rather the seat by the window. We had a 6 person helicopter and my family was all in the back and the 1 additional person got the best seat on the chopper. I understand it goes by weight, but this really could have been configured better. We were disappointed that we were scammed.
On a trip to Kaui recently my husband and I went on a Blue Hawaiian helicopter trip. I have been on several helicopter tours in the past, but never experienced the quality and professionalism like this company, The safety standards are incredible. You are put through a complete safety briefing in a dedicated space, shown a safety video and given a full demonstration by a staff member who escorts you to the loading platforms. Chris our Pilot was very knowledgeable and an excellent guide. The Helicopters are fitted with several cameras on the interior and exterior, so your flight is fully recorded and available for purchase. You have special microphones that allow you to ask questions to the pilot. We were flown into the blue hole of a dormant volcano to the crater. Incredible lifelong memories. Well worth the money, just do it
Was soll ich hier lange schreiben.
Our pilot, Brian, did a great job of flying in order to get everyone in the helicopter a view of key points along the island. No better way to see Kauai. The entire operation was smooth from check-in through our return.
It was totally worth the cost. It was definitely the highlight of our trip. I can’t say enough good things about the ground staff, the flight crew, and the overall operations. They were very professional. They were on time. And the trip was phenomenal. We would do it again in a heartbeat
Wir hatten eine tolle Stunde in dem Heli. Unser Pilot hat viel erzählt und uns tolle Infos über Kaua'i mitgegeben.
So beautiful and breathtaking! Our pilot Mark, was really informative and great personality. Considering only 20% of the island has roads, this is the only way to really experience the island. Highly recommend. FYI, definitely important to wear dark clothes. I didn't get it at first, but when taking pictures, the reflection from the windows is noticeable.
My husband and I loved this tour. It was a great way to see the island since much of it is inaccessible by car. We had a lot of rain when we were there so the waterfalls were all really flowing. Waimea canyon and Napali coast views were spectacular and the pilot did a great job making sure everyone got to see the sights from different views. We had a full flight with a baby on board too so it's a bit tight but the Eco helicopters are more roomy than most so it was fine but my tall husband was hitting his head on the roof at 6'3". Overall amazing experience and worth every penny. Very safe operation as well!
