We didn't intend to do a helicopter tour, but we couldn't resist doing it once we realized how extensive it would be. Tony was our pilot and he was extremely knowledgable and answered all our questions. We were so fascinated with his wealth of information! The sites were something out of a travel brochure, they were that spectacular. We got bunches of pictures and even bought the commemorative video. The trip was worth every penny we paid for it.

We have been talking about doing this for years, but my mom has always found some reason no to, this time we just booked and she had no choice! And boy is she glad we did!!! This was the most amazing way to see the island! Our pilot Scott H. was the best, actually all the staff was. My mom was SUPER nervous but they all made her feel calm and taken care of! There is some amazing views to be seen. Some tips..... definitely wear dark clothing, that's a must so you don't end up taking pictures of your reflection. Don't be afraid to ask questions while in flight the pilots are very knowledgeable. All in all this was a GREAT experience and we would totally do it again!!!

This helicopter tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Hawaii. It was a great way to see Kauai and Marty was a great pilot/tour guide. I highly recommend taking a Blue Hawaiian helicopter tour. It's an even better experience if you can get the front two seats. It can't hurt to request.

We had an awesome tour with this company, and will never forget it. Our tour was rescheduled once due to poor weather, and we really appreciated that this company takes safety seriously. Our pilot was engaging and informative. We would absolutely do it again!

I was there on one of the lucky days--clear weather everywhere with no clouds around the summit. Hence, in addition to the "normal" amazing scenery, we got to fly right inside the caldera of the volcano--a truly awesome experience. Our pilot (I think he was Bryce--but I'm notoriously bad with names) was very knowledgeable and entertaining. All-in-all a once-in-a-lifetime experience well worth the time and expense.

My wife and I did this tour as one of our Honeymoon activities and we can't recommend it enough! Our guide/pilot, Brian, was extremely knowledgeable and funny. Well worth it to see Kauai!

My husband and I did this tour while on vacation. It was absolutely amazing! Blue Hawaiian is very safety conscious. They require that you watch a safety video before boarding the helicopter. Our guide was Brody. He was very knowledgeable about the island of Kauai. The takeoff, tour and landing was smooth. Seeing Waimea Canyon, NaPali Coast and Jurassic Falls is breathtaking. Flying into the caldera of the volcano left me speechless. It was great!

There are many helicopter tours available on Kauai. If you are a large fellow or gal, most will charge you a double fee to fly. We were advised by our hotel concierge to fly with Blue Hawaii.They only charged 1/2 extra for the extra weight. (330 in case you are curious.) The pilot, Barrett, was excellent! Very entertaining tour. To see Kauai from the air is a must! Breathtaking! Barrett was able to get us very close to several waterfalls. The surf was extremely high while we were there. No boat tours were going to the Na Pali Coast due to the high waves so the only way to see it was by air. It was well worth the cost!

This was a great way to see Kauai the staff was helpful and the helicopter was clean and in good shape. The views were great and it was a great way to see the whole island at once. The only thing that kept my from giving it a rating of 5 was the cost. It was pretty expensive for a hour long trip and you can get pretty spectacular views of most of the things you see from the helicopter for free if your willing to do a little driving or hiking. That being said although not for those on a tight budget it was still a good time and definitely breathtaking.

Blue Hawaiian is wonderful everytime!! We tried Sunshine tours first because it was closer to our hotel in Hanalei and that was a huge mistake. Don't bother trying any tour unless its with Blue Hawaiian. Everything from their office/take off location, staff, helicopters, and value is so worth it! I would say they could upgrade their headphones on the helicopter- they were a bit uncomfortable compared to other times we have gone with them.

This was one of the highlights of our trip and also gave us a better understanding of the layout and areas of the Island. Our pilot was very knowledgable and gave us a continuing narrative throughout the trip. We almost felt bad that we didn't ask more questions, but we were in "awe" the whole time. This company is very professional and safety is utmost. The views of the Napali Coast were amazing. I would recommend this adventure to anyone. Well worth the money spent.

You can not truly see much of the island unless you fly. Mark and Blue Hawaiian Helicopters made this a memorable trip.

Totally professional operation - the weather was too "iffy" to fly yesterday, so our trip was cancelled until conditions improved. Safety is priority #1 and we appreciated their concern. Easy rebooking and with all systems go, we took off this morning with pilot Greg ... spectacular views of the island. Greg kept us informed and entertained all the way. He even spotted a humpback whale on the Na Pali coast and we circled around for a closer look. The ride was so smooth... so nervous first time fliers- no worries! You should go. Thanks to everyone at Blue Hawai`I - definitely a highlight of our trip to Kaua`i.

Merci pour ces beaux souvenirs. En hélicoptère, c'est la meilleure façon de découvrir les beautés de cette île.

Planning to see Kauai, it soon became apparent that there was no way we could drive all around the island, you could only see a portion via boat, and, at our age, hiking was not an option. The Blue Hawaiian helicopter carried us to views that ONLY could've been seen from the air, and even an airplane couldn't have explored the ins & outs of those valleys and ridges like that helicopter. Our pilot knew all the waterfalls, cliff formations, ocean beaches,... that would make our jaw drop, and was very entertaining with facts, stories & music along the way. TIP: I'd recommend that those subject to motion sickness, take Dramamine early, so it's in full swing by the time you lift off. My wife didn't take it and she....had to use the "Comfort Bag" in mid-flight! So, when there's no other way to see the unique topography of an island, GO BLUE HAWAIIAN!!!
