The pilot was good and knowledge. The helicopter is clean and roomy. We were lucky as 2 people was late showing up so we were able to sit by the window in the back row but it was still quite hard to take pictures. The view of Kauai from the sky is breathtaking.

This was my first ever helicopter ride ! ( age 75). It was a beyond words,awesome experience from start to finish. I must admit I was just a tiny bit nervous. The young lady who did our intake was thorough and calming. Our pilot , Markus, was very professional in getting us seated and keeping us informed about take off. Once in the air, the ride was very smooth and Markus kept us entertained by pointing out all the places of interest. The music on the flight was soothing. The only disappointment I felt was that the flight came to an end. 😉 It’s certainly going to be on my plans when I come back to Oahu.

An Awesome experience. Our pilot was Edward and our Helicopter was the Airbus 130. We couldn't believe the beautiful sights of the water falls from the cliffs. A truly wonderful experience

We originally booked the helicopter tour to view the Mauna Loa lava, but since the lava is no longer coming out, they gave us the choice of doing a volcano tour or a waterfall tour. We chose the waterfall tour, and were not disappointed. Our pilot and tour guide, Ethan, was very knowledgeable and easy-going. He was also very personable. He took us to witness some, amazing aerial views. I would love to do this tour again on some of the other islands. Thank you, Ethan!

This was our first helicopter ride and it was very cool. The big island is beautiful and seeing it from a helicopter was even more fascinating. Our guide was ver knowledgeable and gave interesting facts about the island and the volcanoes. We were there for the Mauna Loa eruption, which was awesome. We had scheduled a ring of fire flight out of Hilo but were told no flight were going out of Hilo due to the Mauna Loa eruption. We were only told this two days before our flight, which was a little frustrating. We had to reschedule some other activities and ended up driving to Kona area from Hilo every day of our stay. The employees worked with us to get on another flight, which was very much appreciated.

What a high class company!  Helicopter tour was outstanding, even in windy conditions.  Pilot was very informative and safety was their utmost importance.  Highly recommend them!

Our 3 third trip with Blue Hawaiian. 2018 and 2022 Volcano Eruptions. Outstanding Pilots, ground crew, customer service, and helicopters. we will be booking again for the Maui tour in July.

Second flight with Blue Hawaiian including the waterfall landing.  SPEND THE EXTRA $$$ for the landing!  The Kohala coast is spectacular, and the serenity of the landing area is unmatched any where else on Big Island.  Pilot Ethan provided a great running narrative and when he was checking in with other pilots and ground control the classic Hawaiian music filled the void.  Perfect if you're a first time (or multiple) visitor, or kama'aina.  Weather prevented a trip to the current lava flows.  Ethan was up front about the challenges that presented, and offered rain check, a reschedule, partial or full refund letting the passengers make individual and collective decisions.  All of us opted to make the trip with a partial refund due to inability to fly the volcano route.  I'll fly with Blue Hawaiian every time we visit Big Island.  I'll even pay for my kids to come along too!

We were scheduled to go up Thanksgiving Day, however weather was not looking good. We were able to reschedule earlier in the week! A fantastic way to see Kauai! The pilot had years of experience and made sure everyone was comfortable along the way. We had minor turbulence and was mindful of several that were not feeling too well due to movement. He was extremely knowledgeable about the island. We saw all the key spots, the Canyon, Na'Pali coast, dormant volcano, waterfalls from Jurassic Park, etc. Truly a once in a lifetime experience. Highly recommend Blue Hawaiian!!

Expensive but amazing experience to see the Mauna Loa eruption from the air and the rest of the Big Island. Thanks Ethan for the smooth ride and informing us on different areas of the island! Tip to everyone going - please wear dark clothing as it recommends - don't let your ignorance mean a bad experience for someone else! Windows produce a lot of glare and reflections, which impact your photos A LOT. If you're bringing a DSLR or Mirrorless camera I highly recommend a polarizing filter (this saved my entire experience by cutting out reflections from inside).

Great experience seeing Kauai from the air with BHH. The pilot was very professional and explained what we were seeing and answered everyone's questions. The entire staff were very professional throughout. Highly recommended!

Amazing experience flying with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters! Everyone was extremely friendly, the ride was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced the scenery was so stunning. The pilot was extremely friendly, he explained everything we were seeing very well, he made it so both sides in the helicopter could take pictures of the beautiful scenery. The pilot even went out of his way to find whales for us to see from up above. Strongly recommend this tour it was 100% worth it!!

We had booked the big tour with a stopover. Our pilot Pete flew us very well over the island of Maui. It was better than expected. Top, highly recommended.

Full disclosure, my helicopter ride got canceled, as I had arrived. The weather became too cloudy come out with no visibility. I just really appreciated the friendly customer service, and that they gave us all three options on how to proceed- full refund, different flight, or reschedule/standby. I went with the refund as I'm leaving the island tonight, but I am glad the company takes safety seriously, over profits. I'll try again next time I'm in town!
