Went on the 2 hour entire island tour Great experience and the best way to see Big island - waterfalls, lava, valleys, etc. We had Eli as a pilot who was incredible!!

Tom was almost as good as the scenery

In 2 hour's tour, to see the real lava on the carter or ocean will worth the money.

Amazing

I can't think of a better way to see the Big Island than to get on board a Blue Hawaiian Helicopters flight. From the world's most active volcano (Kilauea) to the lush green valleys along the Hamakua Coast - truly amazing! They offer three different flights, which include a two hour flight (Big Island Spectacular), two 50 minute flights (Circle of Fire and the Kohala Coast Adventure)

Our pilot Carl was awesome! He gave us a great ride, brought us to some of the most beautiful places on earth on Hawaii's Big Island, and his commentary was informative and a little humerus. Keep in mind, when you go, you can purchase a video of your tour with all of the pilot's commentary and your conversation.

Sorry for being late (July 5th 2014 - 3 years ago), but I just stumbled upon our video while uploading last weeks cruise pictures. I just had to watch it. This was an unforgettable tour/life experience/memory. It was our last day on the island and while we were there we talked quite a bit about taking a helicopter tour, but was worried about the price. It was just across the street from where we were staying and our flight wasn't until 11pm, so we stopped by to see how much it was going to set us back. When I went back out to the van to tell my wife the price, we almost drove away. Then we thought a little harder and thought, what's our chance of getting to do this again. So we took the leap - Me, Wife, and 2 sons (11 and 15 at time of ride). It set us back some cash, but looking at it today, I will never regret that we did it. Jason our pilot, who I could see his name in some of the recent google reviews, and I'm guessing he is still there -he was simply outstanding. Professional, super knowledgeable, and a great clear voice. I'm glad we took the DVD, it brings back great memories, and the cockpit camera video with everyone's smiles is priceless. Jason, if you read this, we just finished a week cruise on the Norwegian Escape, and in the video you mentioned how you got started by being an NCL scuba instructor, that had a port call where you took a helicopter tour, and the rest was history. It was a pleasure having you as our pilot, and the video footage from the multiple cameras is outstanding! We are talking about taking another cruise in Hawaii someday, we will definitely look you up for another trip. Thanks again.

Blue Hawaiian Helicopters was fantastic. They initially contacted us after we booked our tour to let know what not to bring to take on the Helicopter. On arrival check in, was quick. Individual weights taken and computer generated seating, remarkable. The required safety briefing conducted for all flights via quality video. Boarding organized, quickly and safely. Our pilot, Gordo, was terrific, friendly, safe and informative. We flew around about 2/3 of the big island. We saw active volcanoes, vast areas of lava flows, beaches where hot lava entered the water and fantastic waterfalls. All this documented via cameras mounted on the helicopter. I purchased a copy of the video and couldn't have been more satisfied. Congrats to Gordo and Blue Hawaiian Helicopters.

Excellent way to see the whole island! Will do again next time, for sure.

We had an excellent experience with Chase as our pilot . Would highly recommend this tour of the volcano national park and the waterfall tour with Chase. He was knowledgeable of the area and provided us with awesome views from the helicopter from both sides of the bird. I'd definitely do this tour again.

It was one of the most amazing things we have done, and we have traveled alot. Carl was extremely knowlegable with a great sense of humor!!! Very aware of all persons onboard!!
