Took this tour last September (2021) when crowds were few due to covid and the north road at Hanalei had just been opened during the day. The ECO tour was great and covered most of the island. Beautiful views and my first time in a helicopter. I was in the backseat but still had good visuals. The only downside with the totally enclosed cabin is that, depending on what direction the sun is coming from, for someone who likes to take pictures (like me) it's difficult not to get reflections in your shots.

This view of Kauai has been on my list for a long time. Our pilot, Russell really knew every nook, cranny and hilltop of the island, and the views were stunning. I can't recommend this highly enough.

An experience my children and I will never forget. All staff very friendly and professional, pilot Mark was knowledgeable and patient with my son wanting to hog the mic. Kauai's beauty is unmatched, the money is worth it! Get the front seats!

Made reservations 5 days before and booked two front seats for extra charge. The ladies on the phone were so kind and helpful. Once we arrived and went through the safety briefing Marco our pilot loaded us up. We did the 0800 flight and had a perfect weather day. Oceans were glass and saw lots of wales and dolphins. Pilot was an encyclopedia of information. We toured the active volcano and spent plenty of time circling so both sides got fantastic views. Landed at the base of a 1200 ft. Waterfall spent plenty of time and then the pilot said the best is yet to come…..really!!! He was right! Music was playing in our headsets as we flew through box canyons and multiple waterfalls and scenery that you have to experience to believe. Professionally run from top to bottom and appropriately emphasizing safety. They provided a thumb drive with a video of the flight. So worth it !!!

Very well organized and safe tour. Friendly and informative from the start to end. The helicopter was very comfortable and easy to view from. The pilot was outstanding with info about the sights and history of Hawaii. He was very skilled with flying close to the sites and turning so everyone got a great view. We got great views of everything and even whale spotted along the coast. The volcano was active while we were there and it was exciting to see flowing lava. The ability to fly in the jungle valleys and get close to the waterfalls was awesome. Must do item.

Phenomenal, once in a lifetime experience! Our pilot Greg made us feel at ease and had a lot of interesting knowledge to share. He was professional yet relatable. He made sure to cue the music at the right times (including the Jurassic Park theme as we approached *the* waterfall, which was a highlight!). We paid extra ($100 per person) to sit in the front row. My husband enjoys photography and I knew he would appreciate the superior views compared to the back row, which he definitely did. Make sure to double check your check-in time; I didn’t notice it amid the fine print in the lengthy confirmation email and we arrived 20 minutes late. We still made it on our flight but felt a little flustered. Staff were professional, efficient, and seemingly used to -although still annoyed by- guests arriving late. Overall, even though it was very expensive I would recommend 10/10. Purchase the video at the end of the trip so you’ll never forget it. A must do!

Staff in the main office could have been more friendly and the price of a ticket is higher than I would have expected for a 50 minute flight. However, our pilot handled the helicopter with grace and skill and the views are simply breathtaking. Would recommend doing this at least once.

Took my wife here for her birthday. Although we've hiked a handful of these mountains, the views from a helicopter was impressive. Our pilot, Koji was friendly, safe, and knowledgeable.  There isn't a bad seat in the helicopter because if his excellent flying!

Have been twice now, 10 years apart. Great way to see Hawaii, although expense and for me personally, I'd go for one of the no doors experience in one of the smaller helicopters. One tip, if you have 6 people, two people will be in front. They will tell you it's $100 extra to be there, but regardless if you pay it or not, 2 people will be sitting there.

This is the thing we were most looking forward to on our visit to Hawaii, and it did not disappoint. Pilot was knowledgeable and friendly, and we got to see an awesome view of the coast (with whales!) and all the dried lava grounds. Way better than out the side of an airplane :) The pilot also swiveled around things several times to make sure everyone got a good view. We also saw lava, which was everything it's hyped up to be--but I consider this an added bonus, as the weather can be unpredictable and I trusted the pilot to keep us safe. If you are looking for ONLY lava, you can usually see it from Volcano's National Park with a short hike (though the overhead view is quite different, and quite spectacular if you get a chance to see it on your tour).

I don’t think you could find a better helicopter service in all of Hawaii

Love helicopter tours and the staff was great getting us on board and the tour itself was amazing. Paying for the front seat upgrade is always worth it for us and we highly recommend this tour. Several operators recommended this company as the best. The only thing I would say is that we didn't like the style of our helicopter pilot/tour guide. It was one of those question/answer type thing where he constantly asked us what things were and of course none of us knows the answer or we wouldn't have been on the tour. I find this irritating and would rather be told more information about Hawaii and the things we are seeing. I'm not sure if it was our pilot or if this is a script but if it's a script PLEASE change it. No one likes feeling stupid and we don't care what hotel each person is staying in or even where they are from. Not necessary for a 2 hour tour that should focus on the island of Hawaii and all it's natural wonders.

DEFINITELY DO THIS!!!! And if you can, fly with Pilot Greg (Kauai) --- he's awesome and makes an incredible trip even better! This is a fantastic experience and well worth it.

The beauty of the island is incredible and when seen from the air, it is emotional. The Napali coast was so beautiful that it truly takes your breath away and touches your soul. I had planned this tour early in the week during our stay & recommend this. It was fun seeing places on the ground after seeing them in the air. John was our pilot and he was the right mix of everything - skill, knowledge of the landscape and his sense of humor. SO glad we splurged for this ride. Blue Hawaiian honored my request for the right side of the helicopter - Thank you so much for our trip of a lifetime.
