The staff are all friendly and make you feel welcome. I appreciated how the pilot gives you many moments of silence to appreciate the island.

Very fun trip and was a great way to see the island (parts you otherwise couldn’t). We did not get to go to the volcano due to weather and they adjusted the trip accordingly. Overall, great experience.

Thanks Edmund for an amazing ride this morning! I did the big island spectacular. I had never been on a helicopter before and I was pretty nervous. I felt safe the entire time. The helicopter was maneuvered in a way that was fun but not scary. The playlist they had over the headphones really went well with the trip, playing soothing music at the right time and sometimes playing exciting music. If there was a really great sight on one side, the pilot would circle around so that people on the other side of the helicopter could see it as well. I signed up mostly because I was excited to see lava, but I thought the North shore hills and valleys were the most spectacular. The planned route had to be changed because there was fog at one of the main volcano sites, but I thought they did a good job of offering that I could reschedule. I didn't have time to reschedule so they said we could see some other parts of the island instead and I was very happy with the tour overall. If you are considering signing up for this, I would recommend booking the helicopter ride early in your Hawaii stay so you would have possibility to reschedule if this happens to you. In my case I was booked for the very last day of my trip so that wouldn't work. I highly recommend, even if you are nervous about helicopters like I was.
