A&P Mechanic - Big Island

Blue Hawaiian Helicopters, Hawaii's premiere helicopter tour company, is seeking A&P Mechanics for our Hilo location.

This position is responsible for maintaining a fleet of aircraft in airworthy condition in accordance with applicable manufacturer and FAA standards. We fly Eurocopter AS350B2 and EC130B4 with air conditioning and custom audio/visual recording system. A current Airframe Powerplant License required.

The successful candidate will perform all types of daily maintenance. Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance. Perform inspections at required intervals, perform trouble shooting aircraft systems, replacing engines, transmissions and other components as necessary. Will work as a team with other mechanics on staff as required.

Candidates must be able to work long hours under various types of conditions, able to lift/carry 70-100 pounds, climb, walk, fit into tight spaces and be able to fly on board aircraft.

This position requires a high level of mental alertness, making decisions on airworthiness for safety of pilots and passengers.
